NTUC FairPrice - 10 Sinaran Dr

Small store with a lot to offer. Still the same but not enough cashiers at check out area. Always got long queue during peak hours.

I like to go to this NTUC as i stay very close to Novena. What i dislike most is the attitude of the Chinese young lady, wearing black apron and wearing spectacle, standing or sometimes sitting alone at the door. She is supposed to check the safe entry but instead she would ignore whenever anyone walked in or showing her the safe entry notification. This time she would be standing there with her phone again and even when i walked over to try to scan the safe entry QR code where she was blocking, she gave me a stare like as if i am disturbing her. Such a rude manner! After i scanned i showed my phone to her but she ignore and kept looking at the phone. i thought it would be courtesy at least to acknowledge with a nod but instead, she will just ignored you and kept playing with her phone. Her gesture makes me feel so unwelcome and as if i am doing wrong to show her the safe entry, or perhaps disturbing her playing with her phone. Well this is not the first time as i observed it had been like this to everyone. I hope NTUC would hire someone more responsible to the society and at least do the due diligent to check the safe entry being registered instead of just playing with phone.

Its a nices and peaceful place to shop With family and friends

They have milk, rice, bread, flower, chips, PB & jelly, eggs, lettuce, cheese, tomatoes, mushrooms, beans, cereal, soft drinks, alcoholic drinks, water, orange juice and the list goes on and on. Full on grocery store! Blows my mind! 5++ stars!

I like this little mart bcos their staff always help 'open' the plastic shopping bags hanging at the self checkout counters. I never experienced anything like this in any other Fairprice marts. Small gesture but make me happy as I always have problems opening the plastic bags at super markets.

I was at a self-checkout counter earlier. A staff member (Bee Teng) came to my counter to offer assistance. She noticed I could enjoy discount on a particular product if my spending was beyond a certain amount, and advised me to get something else to meet the threshold. Thanks Bee Teng for helping me save some money!

I love shopping here as it is not too crowded even on weekends. One aunty cashier was rushing me with my HPB vouchers. When I showed her I had 5 (total of $25), she said "enough enough"! Why enough? Those ate my vouchers! All she needed to do was scan & click on it! Nevertheless, I was so happy with my $25 savings!!!

This is probably one of the oddest NTUC Fairprice outlets that I've been to, but it works for what you need. They function like most other NTUCs I've been to. That said, they are hidden in Square 2, on the 4th floor (when most supermarkets are located on the ground floor or basement). There's also a Don Don Donki in the same building, and a Cold Storage not too far away. So why would anyone make the effort to go all the way up to the 4th floor, of an already confusing building, to get their groceries?
