Very homey peranakan food, sincere service. Alot of the food reminds me of my grandma's cooking - very comforting Particularly enjoyed the kueh pie tee, filling was juicy, shell is crispy, so eat it quick. We had ayam buah keluak and beef rendang, flavours are nice but meats could be a tad softer and more tender. But definitely felt like I was back at grandma's having dinner.

Pretty good Peranakan fare. The beef rendang and sambal prawns were fragrant but their sauces were abit diluted (not thick enough). The chap chye was quite flavourful.

Finally had my chance to try Nyonya food at this restaurant. Small it may be, the business however, was briskly at dinner time (there was a 2 persons limitation in the current pandemic situation). I have ordered their Peranakan set which is priced at $13.90 before gst, quite worthy in my opinion. When you order the Peranakan Set, you get to choose a main dish from the restaurant's main dish menu and you also get to choose between Nyonya Chap Chye or Sayur Lodeh as one of the side dish in your set. The chicken in the Ayam Buah Keluak was a little tad dry but I love how the buah keluak made all the food very flavorful after I mixed it up with the white rice. It's a wonderful surprise when it complements the handmade meatball in the Bakwan Soup. I love the delicious Sayur Lodeh and I must say, this is my favorite dish among all. I will definitely come back to try their Nyonya Lontong one day. It may not be the most excellent Peranakan cuisine to me but it most certainly reminds me of those heartwarming home-cooked dinners where you always have at your Ah Ma's place. I do recommend people to come and try if you like no frill home-cooked food. At least for me, I'm gonna keep coming back whenever I crave for flavourful Nyonya food.

A great spot to have Peranakan food when in Thomson area. The selections is varied and includes all the familiar favourites like Ayam buah keluak, beef rendang, etc. I always come for the set meals with my partner. For 2 pax you can get a rice, the chap Chye and sayur lodeh (if 1 pax you have to choose), a bakwan kepiting soup and the meat you choose. The portions are all just nice since the dishes are very flavourful. The shop also sells various kueh kueh and has a good chendol too. You must come by and try if you haven’t visited before. Btw, remember to have cash on hand to pay for the meals, payment options kinda limited here.

My wife and I went for a weekend dinner. We were familiar with this place as we have patronised them a handful of times after we found them during covid. We always go there for the set meal which are always a good value for your money since they give you small portion of your mains and we would always just share around. When they say spicy, it's spicy. The curry chicken is good but think they could have offered more variety of soups and sides. Everything is great, haven't tried the noodles as they are always unavailable, disliked the pineapple with prawns but otherwise get ready for a good time there!

Full of surprises. Ordered Ayam Tauyu Lada, Babi Pongteh, Ikan Masak Asam Pedas, Udang Sambal, nasi kuning, Nonya Chap Chye, Nonya Chendol and Gula Melaka Sago. Wish we could have more. We finished each dish as if like we have cleaned it. Hehe. Mom’s cook? They did it better. They made us feel like we are having dinner at Melaka again!

Order 2 lunch sets. Very surprise the quality standard has dropped. Every dish is very sweet as though they added candies. Rendang chicken, Assam fish, cabbages and meat ball soup taste sugary. Will give a miss. Not sure other branch face similar drop in quality.

Dine in with my family first time to try out. Not bad for the dishes, just a little salty for one or two dishes but overall quite ok. Prices are affordable, average $10 +/- per dish. Each dish portion is not really big, just good for tasting. The ingredients are cooked freshly and they blend the spices on the spot which is good flavour. Room for improvement on missing order, otherwise is just fine.
