Dr. Anwar is an excellent dentist. He took the time to explain every procedure he was doing. For example, when I got my wisdom tooth extracted, Dr. Anwar was very supportive, and thorough when explaining the process. He is professional, kind and sincere during all my visits. I have recommended my family and would recommend Dr. Anwar to everyone.

Friendly and professional dentists who will pause after each phase of the treatment to explain really simply what’s happening in your mouth. Rather big contrasts to what I’ve been used to at other dentists. I very much appreciate what Dr Lee and Dr Anwar does and will recommend others to see them

Never send young kids that are afraid of dentist to the female doctor here. My child's 1st visit to dentist was traumatise by her, she was super unfriendly and told me if my child keep crying and refuse to open his mouth she cannot do anything. She didn't bother to coax or assure my child, just sit there watching expecting my child to open his mouth for her. After I try for 10mins, I still can't make my child to cooperate, we have to leave and was ask to pay full consultation fees. Super unsympathetic from doctor there. ?

I went to see Dr Kaung for a cracked tooth, as my usual doctor, Dr Anwar was away on holiday and I could not wait. A crown was needed, which requires 2 stages. The first stage is placing a temporary crown for two weeks before coming back to place the permanent crown after. So I went ahead and did the first stage with Dr Kaung last night from 6-8pm. Around 4am I woke up from choking on something. I spat the object out and realised it was half of the temporary crown that broke off. In less than 12 hours of the procedure, the temporary crown broke. How ridiculous! I texted the clinic and told them about my condition and it was an emergency as my tooth underneath the other half of the crown was very sensitive already, as it had been shaved down for the crown. They told me to come in on Friday, 2 days later which I thought was too far away. I had to request to be squeezed in on Thursday instead and was met with a cold response “ be prepared to wait”, which I do not mind given my condition. I then gently told them that I wanted to feedback on how ridiculous and upsetting it was for the crown to break in less than 12 hours. Again, their response “ it’s a temporary crown” suggesting that I was making a fuss and that it’s normal to break because it’s not the real crown anyway. However, a temporary crown breaking off in less than 12 hours of the procedure is dumbfounding and ridiculous. A temporary crown is supposed to last for 2 weeks, not a few hours. I was shocked as it seemed like they were “blaming me” and were not concerned. Furthermore, my entire exchange with the staff was cold and they did not seem to care at all. I’m really baffled and upset. Their service is terrible. I am appalled and most concerned about my tooth under the cracked crown. Hopefully there is no damage to it because of this. If you’re going to Epismile, never consult other doctors apart from Dr Anwar. Dr Anwar is the most gentle, caring and patient dentist there, with better skills. I am so disappointed and traumatised by my experience there.
