★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Classic dish, thicknon flavour. The coconut milk was thick the green jelly was thick. Gula Melaka a little too thick.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ All the while is all good. Today just went suddenly bcome $2.50!! Inflation steeper than taxis fare and even the one at greatwolrd city Malaysia food court it was raised by $0.20 from original $2.price wise is one star ⭐️ for now
may be taste wise is still 5 ⭐️ (Yet to try)

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This $2 chendol really exceeded my expectations. Instead of kidney beans, they use Japanese azuki beans. Their chendol is so fragrant and the pandan taste really came through. Some chendol at other shops taste like plasticine but the chendol here is really well made. Texture is not at all hard nor gummy.
Young guy mending the shop was very pleasant. I told him less sweet and he told me I could come back for more gula melaka if it was not sweet enough.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Azuki beans are nice. $2.50. I was wondering why so many 5 star comments until I realised, yes, my cendol was prepared to by an aunty. No atap seed. Thick cream coconut from supermarket. Maybe give it another try when its the young man. She was friendly though.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Am glad that my favourite chendol is now also available closer to home. Just like the branch in Chinatown, this stall serves good chendol at an affordable price. The chendol is soft and has a natural colour, the red beans, coconut milk and gula melaka are also spot on in terms of sweetness and fragrance. Stall helper was hygenic and friendly. E-payment was available too. My small complain is the rather coarse ice and the use of disposable spoons.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Favourite chendol in Singapore!!! Love that the ingredients are made naturally and the cendol jellies are so soft! Such a delightful dessert to have after a meal. You can also adjust the sweetness level which I don't think many dessert places do that. And only $2 a bowl...????
