โ โ โ โ โ Still the same throughout these years (even queensway time). The portion is very very generous, ingredients also generous. I love to dig the dried fish somewhere ahah. Love the aroma of the claypot and the charred rice! Always polite but some days waiting is a bit longer.

โ โ โ โ โ I've had claypot rice in Guangzhou and was able to decide if I liked it and why.. but this one is a curved ball. It looked dry enough, so that was a good start. But the smokiness was very strong even in the middle of the pot before mixing (which is strange) the rice was not perfectly seasoned, and chicken not quite tender/ smooth/ tasty, and the ้
ๅทด was overly burnt. I can't say I like it and will come back (even if it's next door/ downstairs).

โ โ โ โ โ Waited for over 40mins for my claypot rice when i went over there on a Sunday. Finally took my first mouth and all i taste was burnt food in my mouth, nothing more. Everyone on my table gave up after a mouth and I went back to the store hoping to get a refund cos it was inedible.
When i feedbacked our experience to the storeowner, he told me that since the rice was cooked, it was actually our fault as we stirred it wrongly and that there will be no refund.
Well after hearing that i couldnt do anything so we just packed up and left. It tasted so bad that it ruined our appetite and had no mood for any other food.

โ โ โ โ โ Thoroughly enjoy this flavourful claypot rice that maintains their standards all these while. Chunks of tender chicken pieces & Chinese sausages, the wok hey is legit. The burnt bits are part of the deal. Weekend walk-in wait is 1 hour. Do call ahead and pre-order to shorten that wait. Polite service. Other stalls with yummy food and drinks in this hawker center such as satay & avocado juice.

โ โ โ โ โ A pair of cute elderly couple was tending to the store when I visited in the evening. They were very welcoming and friendly.
I ordered the small claypot chicken rice at $13, stated for 2 pax but it felt sufficient for 3 pax instead. The rice is fragrantly burnt with nice salted fish, Chinese sausage, and chicken. You are to add dark sauce and oil to the rice, and mix it on your own. You may ask for a take away box if you are unable to finish your claypot rice.
Would recommend if you love rice which has relatively strong burnt fragrance.

โ โ โ โ โ Very generous with their ingredients, this has got to be one of the most value for money Claypot rice. First try, it seems tasteless except for the burnt wok hey taste. However, after adding ample amount of black sauce and oil, the taste tilted to serious tasty. I love it. There are chunks of salted fish too so be sure to mix evenly. I'll be back for more.

โ โ โ โ โ Got to be the worst claypot rice I have eaten, the burnt smell is too strong not sparing the rice and meat. The veg was yellowed from being overly cooked. The rice was very soggy and tasteless even after pouring so much dark soy sauce. 1st and last time, look at the amount of rice left. Only ate a few mouthful and had to stop due to the overbearing burnt smell and taste. Felt so bad to be wasting food. Not sure what is so good about it or I'm just plain unlucky to get the bad pot out of the so many pots. Treat it as a lesson, at least I tried and know how it tasted. And this cost $14.
