Simply overrated. It is actually passable but because of the hype, good reviews, incredible 30mins wait to end up with a normal plate of noodles really made us disappointed. There is no wok hei nor umami that is expected of good hokkien mee. The photos show a medium plate which came with 4 small prawns, bits of squid and pork belly with bones. Ok to eat just not worth the wait.

Taste wise, very mediocre. Lack of wok hei, lack of fish sauce, the broth is not savory enough. Not worth the wait.. There's much better ones in North.

Above your average HKM but you need to wait for more than 30 mins and $5 for smallest portion. Can try during non peak but not worth the wait during peak. 2 prawns, few pieces of squid and some meat for $5, it’s more of the dry version.

Waited for 30 minutes, $6, only one slice of meat, but 3 prawns, would be better to add Chinese chives & pork lard.

Stumbled upon this fried Hokkien mee stall. Lovely stall owners and very efficient service. Noodles are wet enough and has wok hei. Yummy!

One of my favourite hk mees in Singapore. Stock is nice and seafoody, ingredients are cooked just right, noodles have that nice slight flouriness that I love. 2 thumbs up

Be prepared to wait up to 45mins for this plate of goodness. They will give u a buzzer and u can eat other food while waiting for buzzer to buzz. The wait is worth it if you like your hokkien mee gooey wet with gravy and with taste of wok hei. $5 gives you 3 prawns, some sotong and few pieces of pork belly. I really liked mine

Probably among (if not) the beat Fried Hokkien Prawn Mee in Singapore. Regularly travel here just for this. The stock is fragrant and well absorbed into the thin beehoon, making every mouthful an explosion of flavours. Waiting time is at least 30 minutes but it is definitely worth the wait.
