★ ★ ★ ★ ★ “Wah! Quite good ah!” was my first impression when I had the first bite. After one of my favourite ban mian stalls in Geylang changed owners, the standard wasn’t there anymore and I was skeptical of ban mian stores not meeting up to my expectations and I saw this store and the sign recommended the Mee Hoon Kuay (Handmade torn noodles) which I decided to give it a go.
Boy, was I pleasantly surprised. The mee hoon kuay was delicious and not too thick, sauce pairing was good and it had a lot of greens which added on to the texture. The separate soup had an egg beaten in it (which is my favourite) and overall, it was a pretty good meal for a randomly chanced upon stall!
“好吃再回来！” meaning “Do come back again if it’s good!” was what the stall owner said to me and ngl, I’ll definitely be back if I’m around the area!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Mee hoon Kueh texture is good. Q-Q and not soggy. I ordered minced pork mee hoon kueh soup at $3.50. Portion is alright for a small eater like me. Would love to try the Tom yum version next time.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Dry Mee Hoon Kueh was very tasty and generous in portion for $4.50. Lots of mani chye and there was even a bowl of egg soup 蛋花汤. Stall was manned by two nice ladies. CDC vouchers acceptable.
The fish soup, on the other hand, was not good though. They used dory fish even though it was relatively expensive at $5.50. Soup tasted like it contained only MSG and left me extremely thirsty.
