My husband visited Dr Ng Chee Yung for the first time in Dec 2020 for a medical condition. Dr Ng was able to find the root of the problem and provide an effective treatment by assessing and explaining the surgery procedures involved. Dr Ng’s professionalism with a touch of details, dedication and boldness had led to a successful operation and subsequent follow ups for my husband. My dad was diagnosed with rectal cancer last year in 2021, and after rounds of chemotherapy and radiation to shrink the tumour, was referred to Dr Ng Chee Yung by his oncologist. Dr Ng presented the treatment option of a robotic surgery to remove the tumour. We were naturally very apprehensive about any surgery for my dad who is 90 years old, and especially this one which is very challenging given the location of the tumour and the expected duration of the surgery. So we were really hesitant and spent a few anxious sessions in Dr Ng’s clinic asking him many questions repeatedly about the surgery risks and alternative options for a 90 year old patient. Throughout our sessions with Dr Ng, he was understanding and always very patient in addressing our concerns and explaining the pros and cons of the various options. With his medical expertise and wealth of experience, Dr Ng was clearly confident of carrying out the operation but he did not rush us in our decision making. Eventually, my dad underwent the robotic surgery under Dr Ng’s good hands and the tumour was removed successfully and a stoma created. A planned operation to close the stoma was done 10 weeks after the removal of the tumour. Thanks to Dr Ng, both operations were very successful and uneventful and my dad’s recovery was amazing; Thank you very much Dr Ng! Special mention must be made to Dr Ng’s team at the clinic, namely Nurse Manager Xue Ting, Hui Yee and Jie Ling. They are always cheerful, positive and assuring in their interactions with us at the clinic. Just as important, they are very responsive and effective in addressing our requests and concerns. Dr Ng Chee Yung is incredible. Not only has he taken great care of my mum & my health, but also he is very nice and patience to speak with at every appointment and never rush us to leave his consultation room sooner till I have completed asking all my questions . It’s rare to find a doctor that combines such personal touches and care for a patient as a person with outstanding quality of medical care. All his staff are always helpful and kind. Wonderful team at One Surgical - have gone above and beyond for me a few times over the last few years. Dr Ng is thorough and approachable and a great surgeon - he will happily answer any question or concerns you may have. Very fortunate to have Dr Ng as my surgeon during my recent opn to close my stoma. I was having poor recovery due to a blockage following the opn. Because of his attentiveness, he and his clinic very quickly arranged with the hospital for a follow up opn and I was able to walk out of the hospital in just about a week later. What sets Dr Ng apart from others is his years of experience, his skills and ability to size a situation and more importantly bravery to take action in the interest of his patient.

I have reviewed by Dr Ng since 2017 till current. He is a good doctor that helps me to remove my tumor from my colon successfully. The clinic Nurse manager and nurses are very friendly, helpful, good attentive and always provide their concern and follow-up with you after your clinic visit and after surgery to me. This is the clinic who I will recommend Dr Ng and his clinic if my friends or colleagued would like reference to.
