★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Hock Chwee from Ong Hock Soon Motor Repair has been our go-to car service person for the past decade.
We previously encountered an issue with our car and went to a few workshops, who quoted us exorbitant prices. One car workshop even told us that it would cost at least $1000 to fix, due to an oil shield issue. We went to Hock Chwee, who discovered that it was an aircon gas leak. This cost less than $100 to service. The issue disappeared.
We stuck to him because of his honesty, and willingness to troubleshoot what really went wrong with the car, instead of hard upsells and quick suggestions to replace expensive parts or products. He will do his best to repair or service the affected part, and has saved us a lot of money in this way.
