Orange & Teal Café

Very well decorated and cosy place. Lovely ambience esp during Christmas. Aircon was a little cold where I was sitting but overall a pleasant experience. Would be somewhere I love to hang out for coffee and sweets. My personal expectation for the dinner was a lil high, so I was disappointed. It was okay but I wouldnt say I love it. Buffalo wings was my fav among the dishes. Had the lava cake and icecream, that was great though! Warm soft cake with rich choc icecream (and various toppings). Nicely done!

Been wanting to visit this cafe since its opening! Cafe ambience and decoration was jaw-dropping especially during this Christmas season.. can fight with Orchard Road's Christmas lightings hahaha. The menu seems to change daily and I ordered the Tuna Panini, Sirloin Panini, Sirloin Linguine and pumpkin soup. Loved the crispy Paninis' and they were great! The Sirloin Linguine's pasta was a bit bland while the sirloin on it was a bit salty for my taste however. Table waiting time was relatively quick despite the crowd. Service was great and the owner himself (Dr. Chee) was very kind and came to greet us when at our tables. Pleasant experience indeed.

Google Map reviews are great! I get info from other reviewers to try new places and some are gems! Today, I found one such place in Orange & Teal. We live in the East, but I drove down to The Rochester with my boys for lunch today, and we're really glad we found this place. First, the ambience is great, and the seats comfy! The staff? Friendly, approachable, and Very hardworking! I see them helter-skelter from table to table taking orders and answering calls for utensils and condiments, and yet, they remained cool and level-headed! Now for the food. The burger didn't look the part, but peek at it on the side, and that beef patty looks like a meat ball on steroids! Tastes great too with just the right amount of seasoning. The salad side, was amazing! I've had my fair share of black vinaigrette dressings, and they drip watery, but this one's a reduced version and looks like gravy! This gravy is tangy sweet and delicious. My kids and I cleaned it up with our spoons, and that's saying more than I can say ever bout how good it is! Both my boys had the Grilled Salmon on Creamy pasta. I 'stole' a bite of their pasta, and Oo-lala! Its was al dente creamilicious, and if my burger was good, this one was great! Ok. My final words here. We had a great lunch here, and I also know Dr Chee Soon Juan and wife own and run this place. Well done and kudos Dr and Mrs Chee! It's one of the better Western joints we've tried in awhile, and just looking at the crowd and the people lining up outside, I'd say it's well-deserved, and am Very Happy for you! I wish you all the best, and am looking forward to coming back again, and this time with my wife in tow?

Great ambience! Nice and cozy. Loved the Christmas decorations. The food was great too. We order Salmon Paninis, onion ring, truffle fries and turkey breast. No complains on the food! Dr Chee was also very friendly and indulged in our request to take a picture with him. Maybe the only thing that was slightly disappointing was the reduced menu. Quite a bit of the menu is missing when compared with the menu on the website. Hopefully the full menu returns soon, and I will be back to try the other items!

Beautiful interior with a talented pianist providing wonderful live music. The price was reasonable, $30 for a soup, a burger and a drink. The service was prompt and the staff was friendly and efficient. Although the menu was not overwhelming, I was hoping for more choices. The quality of the food was okay, nothing to shout about or pick at. The eatery is located right at the top of the escalators so do check it out. Oh, and I saw Mr Chee himself as I was paying at the counter.

Here for the Valentine's dinner and my first visit. Super cosy feeling inside and decor is done up with class and food was really good. Dr. Chee and his wife were there and interacted with almost every guests. Would definitely come back again for lunch experience soon.

Nice cafe design. Service is good. The food however kinda simple. Nothing special or worth coming down for. The menu pictures looks good, but the actual food kinda look different from the photo. The chicken is kinda dry. Love the vegetables. The chocolate lava cake doesn’t have that chocolate flowing out… abit disappointed.

Nice Ambience. Buffalo Wings taste excellent. Mango Smoothie tastes good. Food portion is generous, with lots of salads too. Taste of food is just right. Takeaway chocolate fudge cake and new york cheesecakes for the kids. Delicious, they said.
