Outdoor Life - Funan

Bought a $200 scuba flashlight in the past and it was supposed to come with lifetime warranty but barely used twice and already not functioning as described, however the shop was unable to offer a resolution as they were unable to contact their own supplier. Buy at your own risk. Edit post reply: Emailed them 8 Oct 2018. Bought 2 Oct 2016. That is 2 years. And they were somehow also unable to find our membership in their system. Thankfully I was able to dig out the receipt to be able to continue to conversation. Their reply was so not proactive that the conversation went on into 2020. If they were even unable to offer the 10 year international warranty, it should at least have been marketed with a sticker for buyers to take note, "lifetime warranty" was clear on the box. That is the difference between a consumer who buys a $200 flashlight with trust versus a $20 one. I believe if I had not been able to dig out the receipt, they may have not even tried to help out. As much as I like the store, I considered this incident and tried restraining myself from purchasing something. Also the email contacts are everchanging, which led to me further distrusting the company. Back then they were the only store that has Princeton Tec products, and their inability to reach their supplier despite still continuing their products during the time of the email did not sit well with me as an end consumer.

It Expensive but I'm Satisfied with all the items.. Very good quality no doubt at all.. I can walk around freely in the store without disturbing.. All staff are excellent.. They always ready to serve u went we needed..

Has a vast and comprehensive range of items. Staffs are friendly and able to assist in clarifying questions about products. Also had fun trying out their bouldering wall and cold room! Will definitely recommend to anyone looking for quality outdoor gear and apparel, or even everyday essentials.

Bought a Coleman jug from this store. The store attendant was extremely friendly and polite in helping me to locate the product. Will definitely shop here again.

Came here to look for hiking shoe. Wide range of items for outdoor camping, trail and hikes! Very friendly staff who was very patient and provided a lot of information and guide for hiking newbies sharing his own experience. Highly recommend service by saiful.

Was looking for a winter jacket and was served by Ben who was extremely knowledge and recommended what makes most sense in order to meet my needs. Previously we have been to many different brands/stores looking for jackets but none were able to give such good advice as Ben did, the rest of the service staff were also very friendly. Highly recommend Ben and the Outdoor Life store at Funan!

Bought a Thule bag on 11th, return to shop on the 12th with receipt. I was skeptical if the product was authentic as there was no "Sweden" print on the logo in which i know, all Thule bag has it. The person working there was not friendly and say, you want the Sweden word, call the supplier, we got from them. I'm like, shouldn't you do the follow up for me or even check in store if you have other stocks with the same issue? He gave me the eye like as though i brought a counterfeit to exchange a real one. Will lodge a report to CASE - Complaint & Resolution to look into this matter if no appropriate action is taken.
