β β β β β Staff was nice and friendly but see I bought a pair of useless and lousy shoes for more than $50 at this shop. Bata was totally a rip off and lousy brand, never buy from them ever Again. From black to grey in just 1 month and worn off.

β β β β β I bought one pair of converse shoes this evening at Bata store at Peninsula Plaza. When I arrived home I wanted to save this store as favorite on google map since Iβm happy that I got the nice shoes at a good price. But I discovered in many comments that the clerk at the store had secretly changed the new shoes that customer picked with the displayed old one. So I opend mine and was shock to discover that the same thing happend to me. The right one of the shoes that I got is apparently a display shoe which is dirty and looks obviously different from the other, which the clerk didnβt notice me and I thought what I got was a pair of new shoes. I tried to find the receipt in the bag but didnβt find one. What a trickοΌWell doneοΌNow I feel very angry and disappointed and have saved this store as the place that I would never go again. Donβt visit this store since you will never know whether the clerk there would play tricks again.

β β β β β It's a decades old shoe shop that started with school shoes and socks. It's advert used to be "First to Bata, Then To School".
Handbags were much later addition. Getting better with more fashionable bags and shoes though not the league of Charles & Keith. No where even near there.
Bought a bag that can double up as a backpack. Cool. Worth it. Latest arrival.
Bata is having 20% sale for bags now with a purchase of a pair of shoes. But I am satisfied with just a bag, so no discount.
