Really impressed with the good food. Was surprised it wasn't more crowded on tbe weekend. Would highly recommend the beef cheek! Cooked to perfection.

Delicious pasta at affordable prices! The oysters were decent, tasted pretty fresh although quite small compared to other restaurants. We tried the truffle fries which was pretty standard, but could do with a little more truffle. The pastas were really good! The carbonara sauce was viscous and the noodles were cooked Al Dente nicely. Seafood was fresh and they were generous with the ingredients! Perhaps the Aglio Olio could have a little more kick + garlic taste though. Ambience was chill and service staff were attentive as well.

Usual cafe food. Reasonable standard. Relaxing and clean. Fort Canning Link bridge just outside of cafe. Servers were polite and service was fast.

Really good food at this price point. The chef was very nice, gave us free truffle fries which was very unexpected and a generous offering. The latte is decent (otherwise cannot fight with the so many named cafes there). Love the Burrata N Tomatoes (which was one of the main reasons I wanted to try this place). Mains were the carbonara spaghetti and the crispy skin Norwegian salmon. As Salmon is a mains it comes with 2 free sides. I had the homemade potato salad and Brussels sprouts with bacon bits. The crispy skin of the salmon did not disappoint. I wasnโ€™t clear about salmon being cooked medium what it meant. So if you are abit particular about your fish u need to let them know u might want it abit more cooked. Total price for one starter (burrata), one carbonara, one main salmon and 2 lattes - $65.56

A decent restaurant with well executed food but maybe a little more work on leaving impression We walked in without reservation and luckily we were the first customers of the evening. The waitress was rather quiet when she escorted us in and ordered our food but that was fine I guess - something probably the management can think about for how to train the waiter/waitress so that first time customers like us would feel less confused when we order the menu. Every main came with 2 sides and is reasonably priced given the portion. We ordered scallop as appetiser and one braised beef cheek and hae bee hian halibut for mains and our sides were garlic rice, kales, and cauliflowers. Surprisingly we were also treated with free truffle oil fries before the meal and the fries were quite decent :) Scallops were just ok, still a bit chewy. The braised beef and halibut were both good and beyond par but didnโ€™t really stand out to us - they were tasty and tenderness was well delivered however wouldnโ€™t leave a strong impression on us. The sides however were highlights of the night (another surprise!), they did their sides quite well (many restaurants donโ€™t do their sides well) - the both the kales and cauliflowers were well seasoned instead of just being tossed in the water to boil and the garlic rice was great with its half cooked runny egg and some gravy from the braised beef. We didnโ€™t expect the sides to be beyond par as well!

This restaurant is tucked at a corner of L2 away from most of the eatery at B1 B2. Price are reasonably affordable. Beef cheek is tender & flavourful with 2 choice of sides. The Apple crumble simply delicious & ends a wonderful meal! Do give it a try & support young cooks

Great food quality. Enjoyed a brilliant dinner with friends, the starters and pasta were really good. Servers (two young ladies) were very well-mannered and efficient too! Restaurant closes quite early around 9pm, but there are a few cafes around if you still want to hang out.

Always wanted to try this place, but never had the chance. This time round, we happened to be here at 11 am (actually wanted to try Legendary HK but it was closed) so popped in. They currently have a promo where you get a mishroom soup and an iced tea if you order a mains or pasta. The mushroom soup was pretty good, and not diluted as expected. I am not a huge soup fan but I finished the bowl. Perhaps we should have ordered a side of garlic bread. The iced tea was a little on the sweet side, but nice too. We loved the carbonara, which was freshly made and creamy, with a nice egg. My wife felt it could have used a dash of salt. The braised beef cheek was fork tender, but tastewise was rather one-dimensional, so much so that we both felt a little jelak rather quickly. The sides of mac and cheese and homemade potatl salad were tasty though. The tiramisu was s letdown - it tasted a few days old and was runny. Overall, it was a good meal and at $50 was a decent price for a meal for two.
