โ โ โ โ โ Really yummy minestrone meatball soup, rustic style calamari rings, lemon tart thatโs tangy and balanced just rightโฆ although we would have preferred the tart to be more crisp.. and Lavazza coffee!!! We came in the afternoon and had the whole place to ourselves plus attentive service from Faith! Nice chill afternoon Esp after a stressful week.

โ โ โ โ โ Focaccia bread was freshly baked and seasoned well. Truffle fries were crispy and yet not too oily. Other dishes like ham and arugula pizza, meatballs, carbonara Roma and tiramisu were ok. Ambience wise was quite cosy, family styled restaurant. I felt on a price point, it was slightly higher than what I felt the meat was worth. What I liked was the cold water had a slice of orange, so it lightened up the palate since the dishes were quite heavy in carbo.

โ โ โ โ โ Hearty and homey pastas and pizzas. We ordered an ox tail tagliatelle and Italian sausage pizza. Oxtail was tender with meat falling off the bone. The egg tagliatelle is different, with a thinner width that what most places serve, like an Italian mee-pok. The pizza is a love. The pizza dough is made when ordered, and has a great chewy texture.
Wait staff are friendly. The place was quiet on a Saturday afternoon, probably the best time to visit.

โ โ โ โ โ Felt like a walk back in time to the old and traditional Europe restaurant, I guess as they are trying to give off the home cook food vibes.
The staffs are very friendly, polite and courteous, often times asking how we are and if we are enjoying the food. Great to make some banter, although I feel it can be a little too much banter.
The food is a little pricier, and portions are slightly on the smaller side. I had the hot wings, fried mozarella and mixed seafood linguine.
I would recommend the fried mozarella as it is quite crispy on the outside with a nice cheese pull on the inside.

โ โ โ โ โ Tried out this place that was recommended by my friend for its homemade pasta at affordable prices (around $20 - $24). It is not cheap cheap for pasta but homemade pasta tends to be more expensive. The pizza is also not bad. The calamari and the fried mozzarella cheese is a bit of a let down though. However, for those that likes a good ambience and service can skip this place as the place is like an old school American diner with small booth seats that takes up to a max of 4. If you have a party of 5, it will be a chair at the end of the booth. And for side plates, they uses metal plates. We had the Italian sausage pasta (tad on the heavier side but the noodles are very good), the carbonara truffles (nice and creamy), vongole (clams). The pizza is the porchetta (Italian roast pork), like the chewy crust.

โ โ โ โ โ A rustic Italian place that might remind you of eating food from your grandmotherโs kitchen (if your grandmother is Italian that is). We didnโt make reservation but lucky for us it wasnโt crowded for new yearโs eve around 130pm. We had the chicken parmesan which was yummy crispy. The meatball pasta is yum too. Meatballs were juicy not dry. The tiramisu you can tell is home made, you can taste the liquor. Will be back to try to the other dishes.

โ โ โ โ โ Exceptional service rendered. Giving us recommendations on what pasta goes with what dish etc. Albeit after that the service got slower maybe because we were seated upstairs.
Food was just average. Portion wise was ok. I know they were short handed because they told us but it took a while for the chilli flakes to come and by then we had finished the pizza.
We were the last 2 tables but we werenโt asked if we want to get the check. Had to ask the staff and was told to head downstairs. First floor was totally empty and 2 of the staff were about to leave. Also they only accept cash or NETS.

โ โ โ โ โ If you are looking for authentic, rustic Italian meal. This place is as good as it gets for the traditional flavor and recipe for pasta. The portion size is abundant and the price is great for the quality and authenticity of the meal you are getting. Highly recommend to try out this place if you like a taste of Italy abroad. It may not be for you if you are expecting localized or americanized Italian food.
