★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Yummy and authentic Penang prawn noodles! It’s very hard to find such nice and authentic Penang prawn noodles in Singapore. Personally I don’t like the clear soup of Sg version of prawn noodles & the famous Bxxch Rxxx prawn noodles also never to my liking.
But this stall doesn’t disappoint me & satisfied my craving! My Singaporean husband also said it’s nice and taste very close to the one in Penang.
Recommend to ask for more chilli ?
Definitely will come again!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This stall sells Penang Prawn Noodles, which has slight similarities to the traditional Malaysia Penang style, but just that their broth is of the lighter version, not the dark oily spicy ones. Their broth is light, fragrant and has a sweet aftertaste. Does not have the prawny flavour, more of sweet chicken stock taste. Ingredients are quite standard, not much to rave about. Overall still quite satisfying slurping up the soup and it complemented the noodles well enough too.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This is an authentic Penang Hokkien Prawn Mee. Owner is from Tanjung Tokong, Penang. Speak fluent Penang Hokkien. Price also reasonable $3 onwards.
The broth can taste the natural usage of prawn shell and pork bone. Not like Singapore prawn noodle, usage of prawn powder (taste enhancer).
