Affordable and quality western food at Pek Kio. Chicken chop was well grilled outside and tender inside. Aglio olio was very decent too.. especially considering from a coffee shop stall. Will return to try other items soon.

Have eaten at this place for a long time and the uncle is really friendly. However, I have stop for a couple of months because I don’t really drop by the vicinity that often due to covid. Since I am nearby today I decided to pick it up. Today the uncle (owner) was not there. I was served by another lady cashier. Disclaimer, i still like the fish and the fish size is good. but the serving of fries is outrageous. It was way more when I previously have ordered I mean I ordered fish n chips so the main deal would be the fish and chips yea? The amount of fries given was like so small that I can’t comprehend it is even called “fish and chips”. The serving is even lesser than the small fries from macdonalds. They are “generous” with their side dishes as all their main courses supposedly comes with 3 side dish but if they serving of the side dishes is going to be so small and insignificant. I rather they just stick to the usual normal two side dishes. And the sauce they gave me was like super minimal as well. Like….. they even charge me for the packaging which is $0.50 (biodegrable they said).

Ordered 2 to go of chicken chops with different side dishes. At home, enjoyed the chicken chop very much: so well prepared, the meat was so tender and mouth watering. Really enjoyable lunch. Well done, chef. Added a photo of the chicken chop and decided to be creative.
