Food is pricey though well cooked. Long time member said staff here are complacent and unmotivated since usual club members would visit, whether they like it or not. 2nd floor is usually empty even after renovations. Hope to see genuine, good service for all patrons in time to come.

Great place for dinning. Steak, crab cakes and salad. Excellent.

a bit of a let-down. I expected fine dining. Yes the place is nice as per fine dining, service is good, menu looks even too broad, prices are quite top. So from the prices I thought that it was really going to be fine dining experience. I was puzzled by the abundance of items on the menu... how does a fine dining restaurant keep up with all those items, ingredients, preparation, etc..? It should have been a red flag from the outset. The food is substandard for the place. My beloved domestic helper can prepare this food, minus the presentation. Presentation of the dishes is average. All meats lack of the right flavors. Sure I know that a tenderloin or a filet will have less flavor than say a sirloin. And that's where the chef should do something about it. Few thin cut potatoes don't do the trick for me. Pasta another disappointment. The burger, isn't it the same that they serve downstairs??? So I left quite disappointed, and wondering if The Second Floor is actually serving some of the same food that you get from The Eagle's Nest, plus some dish decoration, at double the price.

Not your cheapest place but some of the items are superb. Ox Tongue yummy, Grilled Black Throat the best I had since I started looking out for this fish 6 years ago. Did not try their wagyu cos they are from Kagoshima, not my first choice of Wagyu. The truffle rice is awesome, almost nothing rice at $12/little bowl as a $48 hotpot of it only serves 4 small bowls, yet some how you find it irresistible, the the wagyu oil on rice at Fat Cow. Give it a try if you feel like feeding your soul. Squid can skip. Warm Ankimo also can skip, still like cold with ponzu better.

This is most probably the best Chinese restaurant among the private clubs in Singapore; love the dim sums and Char Siew. Staff always very attentive and it is a great venue to entertain and impress. Cuisine is contemporary Chinese and decor is modern
