My dad's favourite dog got cremated by Express Pet Cremation and was found to only contained cement when my dad passed away and wanted to have a piece of the dog's bone in his urn. Same thing. The dog's urn came with silicone sealing. Suspect to be the same owner. Leopard won't change its spots! Don't use.

It’s my one biggest regret of my life that I did not research more before using this pet cremation provider. I used their service for my cats in 2008 and 2010. I did not encounter a problem then so I used them again when my cat passed on on 24 March 2018. Calls were answered quickly and they came to collect within 2 hours. I wanted the same photobox urn as my 2 other cats, but was told that the photobox urn now cost an extra $140. ( total cost of cremation + box: $460.) ( the photobox urn and cremation package cost $250 in the year 2008 & 2010) i paid the whole amount without questioning because I trusted this company. And $$ is not an issue when it comes to the final resting place of a loved one. So that is how much I trusted this company. I was just given a receipt and when I asked when the box will be ready, I was told i would have to wait a few days for the ashes to be returned. Thinking it’s the weekend, I agreed and understood. But after reflecting, I felt that there was a lack in the service and that made me want to Google more about the company. To my horror, I saw newspaper articles that they were investigated for fake ashes scam in 2016. I was devastated. Called the company at 2am to ask for an explanation and they assured me that it’s fake news. Couldn’t sleep the whole night ( straits times and cna report fake news??) and the next day I called again to enquire , I was told that my cat has already been cremated and they were waiting for the photobox to be finished. No other updates, on Monday I called again to enquire about the urn and the ashes for my cat. This time I was told to check the art work. Found that my cat’s dob Is not included even though I sent an email. I received a sms that they did not receive my email with my cat’s dob and they will get back to me the next day. The next day I smsed then again to enquire about the photobox urn and now I’m told the box will take 2 weeks to complete and they are expediting for me to receive by Thursday. I have provided the photo, and the “artwork” is just a cropped up photo with the wording which is almost similar to the other 2 cats’ photobox urn. Their sales rep did not tell me that when i ordered the photobox urn or when they took my cat away because I will definitely not agree to such a Long time (2 weeks) My mistake is not insisting on a term and conditions list. But being a provider, I will think they should be the one to provide it to a grieving family. To cut things short, I received my cat’s ashes Today (28 March) . But it’s bitter sweet. After reading the reviews and newspapers articles, a seed of doubt have been planted in my heart that, it may not be the ashes of my cat. I’m contemplating breaking open the urn to send it to be analysed and also the urn of my 2 cats that was cremated earlier with them. The newspaper articles have caused a big doubt in me and now their lack of service has made me feel that they really do not bother. My review may be deleted but this is my experience and feelings and I want to share with other pet owners to research well before Engaging someone to do the final resting place of your pet. Your final memory getting your pet back may be a nightmare and doubt that will stay with you for a long time.

This company goes by many names. Cremated my dog 3 months ago, came in a sealed urn. Today i saw many complaints against them and i cut my dog's urn open. It contained the same powder substance that many other owners found as well. We have all been cheated. Worst of all, the authorities refuse to do anything. Even when other owners have forensic reports to prove that the powder was cement instead of ashes. Please dont trust this company and other companies that have about the same name, unless you are allowed to watch the cremation. Search AVA for registered companies. I regret that I didnt know all these things back then and allowed this to happen.

Avoid at all costs, pet owners. "Patrick Lim" is the name. Friend of mine had her dog cremated, came back with test results of cement and flour in it. Edit: Come on man, EPC has appeared on newspaper before in 2017, just look it up. No need for the owner to come and boast about the happy customers. Good for you if you have happy customers. I don't intend to open a pet cremation center just to come and challenge you. Just make sure you do your job to the best of your abilities. We can cross swords and lock horns all we want but we can agree that no shop will have so many similar bad reviews. Like you said, words are cheap. Where are your loyal and happy customers? :)

Don't go to this place lol ... do plenty of research and you will know they are not legit. It's been confirmed this place puts sand in the urn and not even the real ashes. DO NOT RECOMEND

Please don't trust this place. My relative got scammed. Also from how I see the replies, the owner can't handle any criticisms well enough and spell correctly.

I am upset I did not do any research before using this pet cremation provider. I recently used their service and they were quick to arrive at my home and the bill receipt was settled quite quickly. My sister asked the man whether we can go down to view the cremation but he told her that the service needed booking, which we were okay with. She then asked him whether he could send us any photos before the cremation process, which he swiftly shot down, saying they don't do any of these. None of us questioned it at that time because we were all grieving, and we did not know that other pet cremations offer photos. My brother proceeded to tell me that the guy sped through the process as if "he's finishing work" and wanted to go home after collecting my dog. A day later, I called their hotline and asked if I could go down to their crematorium to see my dog's final resting place. The call was quick and swift, telling me they do not bury the dogs one dog at a time and hanged up the call. I did not even have time to respond that I do not even mind not going in and am fine with just being outside. A week passed and I went to their crematorium at Pasir Ris, as listed on their site, only to find the whole road under construction. Why have they not updated their site to reflect their new crematorium? Why did they hang up the call even though they are supposed to provide a service? I deeply regret not researching more about these things before getting their services. I do not know what they are doing to my dog's body as there are no pictures and I hope they actually did what they were paid to do.
