β€œOh but the ears are like that, we didn’t cut at all” - groomer, in response to my request to neaten up my golden’s ears as I found them uneven. For info, the dogs ears were jagged because of poor home grooming attempts by me. The $120 full grooming session was worth $80 at most. The outline of the dog is now uneven, like I did the work myself. Either the new batch of groomers are really bad, or they didn’t bother to even out the shorter haired parts of my dog like the legs - if requesting puppy cut threatens the integrity of the cut, then it is the groomers duty to tell us right? by paying about $20 above average grooming prices, we literally invest in their expertise. The place used to be a five star place, but it is starting to smell like Joy Doggy and its replacement, Wellfond. Both of which have closed down. No prizes for guessing where their guy went - but Michelle claims he’s great so... We are grateful for Michelle, whose guidance in the past has been invaluable in terms of caring for our dogs a few years back. but those haircuts cost money and I can’t deal with Low quality at high price points - I would really rather pay $20 more and get peace of mind elsewhere, than pay $120 and get $80 value. it seems like management here may have changed. Michelle was not there and grooming left our dog nervous this time around. I nearly popped an artery requesting for the cut to be evened out.. in the end I gave up and just settled - because clearly the groomers just wanted to clean up and go home. Later on, I sent photos of the uneven cut to provide feedback, but I only got an apology specifically for her late response for she had slept early the night before. I believe she must be preoccupied with other matters more important than how well groomed our dogs are. Hence until the grooming salons priorities come back to my dogs, it’s going to be best wishes and a reluctant goodbye.

My dog just did full grooming there on Monday, when he back part of body fuel with different color, the owner tell ask it was his skin problem when he was young, now recover, but we never notice that before, and we check all pic and videos of my dog, never have that before, I don’t know what they did to him. The place very smelly, my dog after grooming two days later start to have stomach virus, vomit and diarrhea, doctor said it’s virus, get from other dogs or food, infecte my dog all along eat the same, but the dog there looks quite sick!

This place used to have 2 owners. The nice, responsible lady owner has left the place. Who is left is the other owner who's bottom line is really about making a quick buck of you. His knowledge about dogs is wrong and misguided and will often lead to wrong assessments. I have been to this place twice with just the new owner and gave him the benefit of the doubt the first time. However each time I went there, he would point out faults with my dogs and give a wrong assessment and suggest a product he has. His house dogs are also sickly looking and one of them passed away. When I asked, he just said "it died" nonchantly. Beware. Also, his dogs come from dog farms. Please just don't buy a dog there.

(try at your own risk, or at your dog's risk) I didn't notice anything wrong with my dogs at first, and yes I do acknowledge that it may not have been entirely the groomers' fault but, I did discover wounds/cuts all over my dogs' body. I think I was too overwhelmed by the cuteness of my dogs with their new hair cuts to notice the injuries they had sustained. I only noticed them when I was playing with one of my dogs and felt a rough scab on his neck and on a few other areas of his back. I initially thought it could have been something else like insect bites and whatnot but it just so happened that my dogs were due for their vet appointments too. so when we got to the vet, we asked about the wounds on my dog and she said it was most likely from the grooming. I didn't even know how serious the wounds were until she shaved off the fur around the infected area, exposing a red angry wound around the size of a 5cent coin. The wounds on his back were exposed as well, ranging from the size of 5cent coins to tiny nicks. I understand that accidents do happen during grooming when dealing with an animal that moves but with all the certificates they had, shouldn't there be lesser wounds? or at least wounds that were smaller? and also, even if it was an accident, they should have at least told me about it so I could have maybe disinfected the wounds to prevent any potential infection. I can't say for sure that they totally suck because before this I had no issues but after this incident, I don't think I'll schedule for grooming sessions anymore. (try at your own risk, or at your dog's risk)

Bought my frenchie for micro bubble shower at Pets Philosophy (Thomson) as his skin always have rashes and hotspots. Usually he will have slight stinky smell at the third day after shower due to his skin condition. The micro bubble shower lasted him at least 1 week and he still smell fresh and clean. Will bring my frenchie to do micro bubble shower as it really helps to deep cleanse.

Read about Pet Philosophy's defamation online from a certain club..so I thought that as a community, we should support our favourite groomers! So here's mine. Michelle is a lovely and extremely bubbly lady! She is one person I know that opens her heart and shop to all pets without any second thought. Extremely genuine love and care shown for them. Her grooming is also amazing! I highly recommend to all pet owners. If you have not tried Pet Philosophy before, PLEASE GO TRY!

Horrendous experience. No accountability - takes your dog without getting your name and number, or the dog's name. No customer service attitude - yells at customer via WhatsApp and asks me to take my dog back, just coz I asked her to answer the same questions that I had to ask 3 times before she would answer. Avoid the trouble of finding parking and a bad day, just go somewhere else. My 1st and last time there ever. ?
