The Pet Safari - NEX - 23 Serangoon Central

I bought an aranda gold fish from the shop last weekend. Brought it back and let it join the other 2 beautiful gold fishes in our main tank without checking this new fish properly. To our absolute horror I realise the new fish had red spots in its tail. I quickly quarantine it but the worst is yet to be. When I shone a torch light on its tail, I notice many grey spots. Upon goggling, I realise those grey spots are fish lice. What should I do. I want to cry. I think my 2 older fishes have also been infected as I saw one of them starts to have a grey spot.

Went to PLC today as I wanted to get another friend for my current budgie. I am really appalled by how the staff handle the birds. I asked to check the condition of one of the budgies I was intending to purchase. The moment she put the hand in cage all the budgies started flying rapidly around the cage. Staff also clearly does not have experience handling and holding birds properly as it took a while for her to be able to grab the bird. Budgie then managed to escape from her hand, went under the cage, she proceeded to use a stick to chase the bird out but didn't manage to. Other staff then suggested using a NET to catch it. They then brought her out to let me check, I found out wings were clipped, she said that would need to clip unless I am intending to keep the bird in a cage. While I do believe that wing clipping is a personal choice, to suggest such things to customers is ridiculous la. You are insinuating that birds can't be played with unless their wings are clipped. I wish you would provide more accurate information and let customers make decisions themselves. Anyway, the staff then put the budgie down and it tried to fly away but hit its head on the glass panel and fell down to the floor. Staff said usually they don't fly that high because they clip their wings every 2 weeks. TWO WEEKS. I think anybody with common sense would know how mentally and physically harmful this is to them. FYI google says wings only need to be clipped every 1-3 months. really hope you guys can focus on giving your staff better education on proper pet care and handling. all the birds' cages had toys and were definitely much cleaner than many other bird stores but the handling of birds definitely can be improved on. as a mega chain store I think you guys have an onus to convey right information to potential customers as well. really dont suggst this place to anyone intending to get pet birds.

Lots of fishes to look at near the entrance. A few small animals like rabbits, guinea pig. Pretty huge space with all kinds pet stuff, cage and food. Theres a 2nd floor with dogs and birds. Not very spacious area. Mostly pet stuff. Around 4-5 puppies behind glass boxes. Saw a grooming area too.

It one of few biggest store which consist of 2 storey . There is grooming , you could buy / adopt dog / parrot/ hamster and Chihuahua . Even bday cake or treats. Fyi ~ pet friendly store which mean you could bring your pet too . This is good place to go when you arethinking of getting your first pet !

DO NOT BUY YOUR PETS FROM PET LOVERS UNLESS YOU ARE READY TO SEE DEAD SMALL LIVES IN YOUR HANDS IN A FEW DAYS. Usually, I won't buy from them but this time round, I have decided to buy from them since the birds are lovely. However, in just a couple of days later, one of the budgies start to puff up his feathers and his feathers were getting messy as the days go by. I presume it is just to keep himself warm. But sadly to say, it died within 9 days. Another one died a few days thereafter. Contacted the hotline and went to the shop, all they told me was to get vet report for them. Do you know how much it can cost? If it's from externally parties laboratory, it could costs around $700 for a $60 bird!!! How's it worth it? Pet lovers centre, if you were to reply this message, do not bother asking me to contact your hotline till I do not have to fork out a ridiculous amount to find out the cause of the deaths. Honestly, I won't be buying from you guys again unless you guys can help to resolve this matter. I bet it isn't just me who have experienced the same thing and I believe that I do not have to go through this with external bird shops.

they sell ridiculously small hamster cages which is pretty much enough to tell you about how much they care about pets. a lot of the hamster food they carry are inadequate for hamsters and poor in nutrition. they tell you that betta fish can be kept without filter or other tank accessories, can keep in small tank. that's an absolute lie. edit: nah that copy and pasted customer service reply doesn't show anything. the fact that the shop carries these items that are not suitable for the animals in the first place is terrible.

First time cat owners or cat's first grooming sesh, highly recommend to stand through and watch the whole process of grooming should u plan to send them here. Or risk communicating with a company with ZERO service recovery approach. Total unpleasant experience for both cat and myself at this branch. Should have been ZERO star if possible.

Excellent service and very helpful insights provided by the Pet Safari staff - Bobby, at the Nex Mall outlet. The store is huge, located across two floors (entrance via floor 4) and has a very wide variety of i guess everything pet related. They also have live fish, birds, dogs, turtles and rabbits that you can buy. The courteous and very knowledgeable staff member helped me pick the right products for my pet and in my budget, without over selling. I will definitely visit again and recommend to every pet owner.
