Uncle Chong is a honest and skillful motorbike mechanic who can help his customers diagnose the bike problems and remedy it. He is upfront about the costs involved and he does not overcharge his customers, unlike other shops that may encourage you to buy unnecessary new parts and items for upkeeping. Highly recommended. Do try to go earlier in the day in case there’s a long queue, especially weekends, and you may have to wait for the other bikes to finish servicing first. Other customers I spoke to at the shop also praised Uncle Chong’s honesty and skills.

Bike was acting funny vibrates and noisy and tough to throttle. Happened after my recent tyre change. Heard abt Planet motor good reviews and wanted to check out. Ah Chong checked by bike and within mins found the problem and fixed it. Tyre was not fitted properly. Really recommended his service. Charged a small fee for the fix.

Been visiting Ah Chong since I was riding my NSR150 back in 2009. Fair prices, no nonsense hardselling, only asking you to change the absolute necessary. As a bonus, Ah Chong is also a joker! Planet Motors is a dying breed. Will always recommend friends to Planet without hesitation.

One of the most affordable and non scammy workshops around. Super experienced and funny chef mechanic. This is my go-to motorbike shop for almost all my bike problems. Wouldn't recommend for rare hippie bikes, Non stock bike configurations modifications and other modifications. Their contacts for parts is also quoted in a very reasonable price. Recommended to give them a call before going because they don't have parts for your problems at times and they may have to order (take 1-3days to reach them). Review update. Still as good.

I came to Planet Motorcycle to replace a turn single light bulb, oil change and new spark plug. Shop was able to service my motorcycle immediately. Staff were very knowledgeable, polite and offered advice. The price was very reasonable. I will definitely be returning to this shop for future servicing needs.

I had a great experience with the Chief mechanic uncle Ah Chong at Planet Motorcycle. Bought my st1300 on 22FEB22 left with 3years COE with direct owner. Previous owner never replaced coolant in 5 years of his ownership. On 11MAR I did a coolant flush n next day brought bike to Lim ah boy kallang workshop to do eng oil change.Found coolant dripping from the fairing. The mechanic told me internal leaking might need to change water pump and recommend me to Bukit merah shop. I was so worried because I’m definitely will be charged high. Then called the previous owner and he recommend me to Planet motorcycle n look for Ah Chong. Initially I’m sceptical but Ah Chong a funny person told me water pump need to replace and won’t be more than $500. I gave him my Brembo dot 4 fluid to flush clutch and brake. By 14MAR22 he rang me n all been settled. On 15Mar22 I collected the bike n Ah Chong says nw the bike ready to go to any part of Thailand and all in he charged me only $420. I’m still a bit worried bout the bike n with his work. On 17Mar22 I rode the bike from singapore to KL average speed 160-200KM/hr and came back to sing on 21mar22 with clocked in 800KM n max speed I tried was 240KM/hr.Not even a single hiccup or coolant drips or high temp.The brake n clutch feel very smooth n excellent. I’m so happy with Ah Chong work n his dedication with the motorbike. Next time anything got to do with my st1300 pan European, definitely I will look for him. Thanks.

So this is a long term review of the shop here. I knew about this place ever since I got my 2B bike 11 years ago. Really became a regular after I got my CB250 Hornet and then more so after I got my Ninja 400. Rarely do I come across a bike shop who is trustworthy and that won’t rip you off. Never had a bad experience, no over charging. The uncle is super knowledgeable and funny and will have time for your stupidest of questions. Highly recommended!!
