Many thanks to Pop Motif for accepting this mini project. Though it was just a mini one Farhan and Haziyah handled it wholeheartedly. Appreciate their insight on designing my storage cum TV console. My living room looks more organize and spacious now and I am loving it.

I got to know about Popmotif from media outlets and decided to hit them up for a chat. During the first meeting, I had the pleasure of meeting up with Farhan and we had a short discussion regarding the reno and I decided there and then that i will engage them. I received my BTO keys in late October, Farhan and team started the reno officially on 2nd Nov & handed me back a beautiful cosy home on 31st December. 8 weeks to fully renovate a bare flat is not easy to do. We've all seen reviews from many different people about many different contractors dragging their feet up to 5-6 months and trust me Popmotif's team didn't show any signs of slowing down since they started my home project. Farhan was also very accomodating to all my requests and you can sense the passion that he showcases while supervising the site. I'd definitely recommend Popmotif to family and friends in the future. Mad props to Farhan and team from Pop Motif to make our dream home a reality! Found out about them from okletsgo and coincidentally we were thinking of getting a house soon. When we got our keys I spare no time contacting them to get our house renovated. It wasn't a smooth journey with Covid restriction pushing back the handover date but Alhamdulillah even with our constant pressure Farhan remain calm and assured us that he will try to meet the completion date. It was worth the wait when we were finally able to move in. The quality of work is top notch. It was worth every penny. I also like it that they are upfront and transparent with their quotation. Everything was itemised to the dollars and cents. Would recommend my friends and family to them. Once again, thank you Farhan and team for the awesome work done. ✌?

Came across Pop motif and requested for them to customize TV console according to our style and liking. Mr Farhan was taking care of us and our requests. His service is amazing. From start to end product, there was updates along the way, so that we know the progress of it. Mr Farhan has also given us many great suggestions in terms of electrical work, colors etc. I could not thank enough to Farhan for giving us such an amazing product. Contacted popmotif and was assigned to Farhan. He easily understand our concept and needs for the renovation. And also able to work within our budget without compromising quality.Also gave some ideas to improve our design. Quotation given was fast but with some errors but he was quick to response and adjust. Communication with us for on site issues or updates are fast.however there are some hiccups happened on site but Farhan was steady to do service recovery fuss free. Quality of built is good for the price we paid and considering the covid situation. Workers were experience and able to accomodate to my complicated requests especially with regards to creating a network spine for the house. Overall the whole experience is pleasant.with surely room for improvement.

Got ourselves a new home, we were unsure of who to engage for our renovation works as both myself and wife are busy with work, we decided to engage a interior designer. Furthermore we have made a comparison with other contractors but we personally felt that POP MOTIF quotation was the best among the rest, it was very detailed and itemised. Farhan was our ID and he is truly meticulous and honest about his work. We had our own ideas and he polished it up for us, advising us on a better ideas and suggestions. It was a pleasant experience, we hand out our empty home to him with great trust and he was able to deliver our demands and last minute changes. He constantly updates you on the progress and any shortfall if there's delay due to manufacturing. Our renovation project was completed on time based on his estimated date he gave us. Overall experience and to end this review, i would say that it was worth it, worth the price, worth the time and definitely a recommended Interior Designer Company to engage with. Project: Remodelling of 4 room resale kitchen, rewiring of whole unit and changing of water pipeline to stainless steel in the living room and kitchen only. Cost was about $23.5K incl GST. Concept design is my own. Pop Motif is a direct contractor for carpentry, electrical services and plumbing services. All demolition and masonry work were subcontracted which includes the cabinet counter top. Critical: Cost quotation error, lacks communication from the supervisor, quality of plumbing work. Accolades: Good workmanship especially the cement screed on the wall and the kitchen floor (yes! we love the crack lines too!) and rewiring layout. We are pleased with the cabinet although it did not turn out like how it was communicated. The project did not come free of frustration and I am one who doesn't like confrontation. So, I placed full trust of the project on the expertise of the supervisor, Nazareen who is also the co-founder of this business entity. The demolition and masonry work was on time and we are pleased with the end results. Later, we requested for a quote for a rewiring work and replacement of the water pipe in the living room. I expected them to raise a separate PR/PO or invoice but instead they added it to the first contract that we had signed which already included GST. I scrutinized the quotation and found the error as the grand total was charged with GST which was obscuring to those who do not take the time to analyse the calculations. The supervisor explained that it was an honest mistake on his part. This triggered me to be on my toes. Through the remaining of the phases, I observed the lack of communication from the supervisor as I need to prompt him questions e.g. when the measurement for the cabinet will be? Is the kitchen ceiling will be plastered? answers to which I expected would come from him without needing to be prompted. To add on, his working team was notified with QO due to Covid which caused delay but we understood this can't be helped. However, there were pockets of time prior to the QO that can be utilised for effective work to be done. The icing on the cake was the pipe leakage beneath the cement surface. Activation for support was reasonably fast but diagnostic was a failure. The choice he made to observe for another week despite sending him pictures to show that the matter was not resolved caused the water marks to spread further. Solution recommended was not to my liking but I knew he would never want to remove the cabinet to hack the floor which I very much preferred. I got to scrape away the epoxy coating to let it dry now. During the meeting with him, he explained that they did not factor in the water pressure released from the washing machine which was appalling considering that Pop Motif is not new in this business. What was shared here was also communicated to him before I made the final payment and he knows that I'll be reviewing his business. He even said, "I am embarrass to ask you for the remaining payment". Some may asked, why I didn't ask for compensation? Well I am humanistic at heart. I dare say that I am probably the nicest client he had cos I didn't breath down his neck except once from my mum cos she lost her patience. I only recommend Pop Motif if you are willing to be on your toes all the time. As a local guide, I shared this review as a guidance to those who seek for it. There are very little detailed review especially for renovation businesses and forget about those rating from some wedding magazine. We as consumers have the right to make that informed choices as the money spent for reno works is not meagre.
