★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Opening hours have changed due to Covid-19 situation. It has changed to open 11:30AM only. There was a queue on opening when I was there to scan and temperature measurement.
Overall of the store is fine. Bigger entrance has been closed to small one at the side. It is good place to buy stationery still.
I purchased printer from here before circuit breaker happened, the price was different between the one on the shelf and scanned at cashier, however the cashier still honor the price st the list. It is good thing unlike few other shops which just tell you the price different at cashier and forced to pay the one at cashier.

This Popular Bookstore is located at Compass One shopping mall and has been the longest operating vendor here.
It has a wide range of books, both local and international. Apart of its main core business (selling books), it has also a diverse range of products from bags, stationeries, accessories, toys, IT and audio peripherals. What's more, you may ask? Well, you can purchase self improvement educational tools to help your child learn languages.
I love this place for its convenience, great offers and discounts all year round.
Last of all, somehow, I am attracted to the smell of books.
It isn't just any regular bookstore. It is a one stop shopping heaven for book lovers.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This outlet is not amongst the biggest Popular Bookstores.
Still it carries an array of products ranging from textbooks to workbooks to assessment books to dictionaries, stationary products, gift articles, IT products and even some basic electronic products.
You can purchase printers here and toners too. Laptop bags, school bags and other accessories as detailed in the attached pictures are sold here.
You can also find calculators of different specifications catering to different academic levels, all kinds of pens and pencils.
Despite all these positives , they still have a huge drawback. One can't confidently walk into the store expecting to find what one intends to purchase. And that's a bit of a pain. Also not all staff are knowledgeable. The one assigned to me certainly wasn't.
