Located at the main entrance of Singapore botanic garden, a perfect place for brunch at weekends before/after jogging in this big greens The price is ok, just about 25 to 30 dollars per pax for a pair of breakfast and coffee/drink. Food itself is very delicious and fast to serve but the drink is quite slow even we almost finish the food, it just comes, that is the main reason why it loses one star.

We went there in the morning, after our usual run round the Garden. Open concept, for both diners, pets and the occasional rooster family. Service is fast and attentive, and the place is full at around 8.30am. The breakfast menu has a good share of meat and non-meat options. Pretty standard bfast fare. My egg Ben is nice and the muffin is also to soak up the egg well. The Ultimate Big breakfast is really huge and has almost everything except the kitchen sink. ha ha. Will come again for the rest of items in the menu.

Came on a public holiday while we tour botanic garden. The cafe was crowded and there was a long queue. However, the wait for a seat wasn't super long. Food was speedily served. We ordered a vegan breakfast and it turned out to be a good surprise ☺️ the food was wholesome and delicious!

Went there at about 2.15 pm today, after our walk in Botanic Garden. The food was ok, but the service is lacking. Staff took a long time to sit us although there was no one in the queue. Ordering was done via an app and food came out shortly. However, we were not given any cutleries to eat with and when I went to get it myself I was told to sit down by the manager as customers aren't allowed to take cutleries themselves due to Covid. Went back to my seat and the manager (assuming he is the manager as he wasn't in uniform) brought me chilli sauce instead of cutleries. Sigh.. The mushroom soup was too watery and the bread that accompanied the soup was rather bland. Fish and chips and the Impossible burger were ok. The Root Beer Floats we ordered were ok but one came prepared wrongly ie the ice cream was placed in the glass before the root beer so the ice cream was stuck at the bottom ?‍♀️ Overall not a good experience for the price we paid - food was ok only and service was lacking.

Terrible experience at Prive@Botanic Gardens. Went there for lunch on 13 Mar 22. The staff manning the reception counter was no where to be seen and we were kept waiting for a good 20 mins at the queue. The staff simply ignored all the customers at the queue despite the fact that there were a number of vacant seats. It wasn’t even crowded at all. When queried, we were told the lamest excuse that the kitchen cannot cope. At least have the decency to guide the customers to the vacant seats first and not let them stand and wait at the queue. Bad customer service. Now I know why most reviewers gave only 1*. In fact, when we came here for dinner on 6 Mar, although we had a wait for a while, at least the staff bothered to let the guests in first. Enough rant about the service. Probably one of the worst Prive around. The manager better buck up or else he may have to answer for the lapse in service. Prive@SBG has one of the lowest ratings as compared to other Prive. Coming back to the food, the dishes are relatively OK, no qualms about it. Ordered the Nasi Goreng and Club Wrap for dinner on 6 Mar. I love the wrap although the wife said the nasi goreng was oily. The tiramisu doesn’t really tickle my fancy as I’ve tasted better. It’s more on the firmer side. If you want to order the tiramisu as a takeaway, you’ll need to pay an extra $3.50 for the glass bottle. For the lunch today, we had the Big Breakfast and Japanese Katsu Rice. The Big Breakfast itself is similar to most other places, but the Chicken Katsu Rice is good. The chicken is thick, juicy and tender. The selection of music is very good as they played the music from the 80s-90s. Ambience seems better at night than during the day. They really need to improve on the service as so many others also commented that none of the staff bothered to showed the guests to their tables despite it was empty and cleared.

Prive is a classic restaurant that will always uphold its high reputation and great consistency. The food variety is huge. And they support plant-based diet. A healthy and clean choice of food is available for selection. If you can find an indoor seat, that would be wonderful when Singapore is such a sunny island in the afternoon. However, if you want to chill in the evening, outdoor ambience would be wonderful. The restaurant is also family-friendly with baby chairs and great delicious french fries with all kinds of sauces. Coupled with the greenery at Botanic gardens, the whole ambience is very cool with a stint back to 1819 Stamford Raffles time period, but with a sophisticated modern interior design.

Great al fresco dining space. Food was decent. All day breakfast is served here. Can see a lot of dogs and local wildlife. Ideal for brunch after a nice walk in the gardens. We loved the big breakfast platter, sausage, tomatoed and shrooms are cooked well. Overall a reliable place to hangout and spend a chill afternoon

A natural enclave conveniently located at the heart of Botanic Gardens, near the stage, ponds, and various nature areas. Food was great with lots of variety, flavors and texture. Various vegetarian options available. For outdoor seating, do come here in the early mornings or late afternoons to avoid the hot weather.
