A proper hole in the wall. Bit pricey, but well worth a try. The spinach ricotta and calzone were great. Will return.

Best hangover recovery shop in the CBD with the possible exception of McDonald's. Price has become a bit more reasonable compared to the last time, at 8++ for a large slice of pepperoni, which is about the same price as a McDonald's set. Personally I'd take this one.

pizza was quite yummy- tomato sauce was well seasoned and the sausage was delicious omg. price was justified I felt (huge pizzas, spent $18 for two people and we had two slices) we didn't expect much, but we were still hungry after dinner and decided to give it a try. glad we did as the service was good and unpretentious despite the concept.

Proper Slice New York style pizzas in this little hidden hole in the wall along Gemmil Lane. No frills and you only get what pizzas available at the time. We liked the White Pizza The Damage (no drinks): S$25-45 for two ~~TRY?: // Original Slice // Pepperoni Pizza // White Pizza Follow us at IG: eatsmorefun

Think NY dollar pizzas by the roadside at 10x the price but still at the roadside! Who am I kidding, I haven’t even been to NY. I do enjoy the concept and the hole-in-wall pizzeria, and they do have immaculately dressed up staff who are posh and polite. We got our pizzas hot out of the oven (lucky us) and they were crispy, warm, rather delightful with a spam of all the toppings on the table: cheese, chilli flakes, Crystal Hot Sauce (more vinegar than chili). However, does not justify the price point and experience is so-so because outside is just too hot! ? Idk how to feel about eating next to the bin, but it was a mood.

It’s close to NY Pizza. Definitely the closest to NY in SG. Having said that the pizza has too much flop, even when folded. Also very disappointed at how little pepperoni they use. It seems the photos on their instagram are just that; photos they stage for instagram. Kind of a joke to have four slices of pepperoni on a $10 slice. That is not NY Pizza, that’s just wrong. Great location and a neatconcept. Wouldn’t really go out of my way to go back. I also felt that the staff there were “trying a bit too hard” and weren’t welcoming but I’ll chalk that up to the unbearable heat they have to work in.

It's a fun concept. The kind that you would recommend to your friend who wants to try out-of-the-ordinary things that may or may not burn a hole in their pocket. Situated in some alley with minimal signage, it sure gives a vibe. The pizza was nice, I especially liked the tomato sauce. I also ordered the pocket drink, Negroni in a bottle. But don't be fooled, that thing is strong. Would've been a 4 star overall. But here's the unfortunate part... ordered garlic knots for takeaway (ate one in the location and it was nice when consumed fresh). I only opened the accompanying marinara sauce/dip once I got home, and discovered mid-meal that there's a shard of glass sitting in it. Luckily, noone was hurt, but it sure is distressing.

Okay, first things first. Yes, it's a boutique-y concept take on a New York slice bar, and yes, it's pretty questionable value for money. That being said, it's still something of a breath of fresh air for Singapore. I love NYC slice bars, and I'm delighted that there's one here now -- even if at 5x the price. The quality of the cheese slice (S$9.42) was perfectly decent, and roughly on par with an average slice in New York. The base had good texture and taste, and the tomato sauce was nice and tangy. I've definitely had better ones in my life, but zero complaints here. Dining ambiance is what it is: basically you're in an alley looking at row of rubbish bins. I guess it's as New York an experience as you can get in Singapore, but without the rats or cockroaches (at least today). In summary - Is it the best slice I've had: Nope - Is it overpriced: Duh - Does it help satisfy some of my cravings for a NY slice: Yup 5 stars because of the last bullet.
