★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Tried the flourless orange cake during the long weekend. It was good! Service staff were nice and friendly. Puzzled by the bad reviews given by others. Probably due to the staff being overwhelmed at the initial phase of opening, just my guess. Scan QR for a look at the menu.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Over-priced food with staff pressuring to order more. Mimosa was recommended by the staff and it didn’t taste good at all and I barely touched it. She also came back few times asking if I wanted to order more since I wasn’t happy with the drink.. Just felt a lot of pressure and not comfortable at all. Crab tart was pretty tasteless as well. What a disappointment.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ ..not sure why reviews so low, always remember my first visit from Ann Siang to Palais 9yrs ago, since moving to SG - this place has never disappointed. Sat outside, the young male waiter was attentive, ambience was lively & food was great, plus reasonably priced. Much better than neighbouring Privé - waited outside in queue several occasions without being served, despite empty inside..

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Finally a PS cafe in Katong. This seems to be very different from the one in East Coast or just about any one in the city.
Was there for tea and ordered cakes which we loved it. So we decided to make another order of a dessert. After taking our orders, it took forever to arrive. Turns out they forgotten.
Maybe it’s teething phase for a new outlet.
But it seems to be a recurring feedback here.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I don’t know why there are so many bad reviews here about the poor service etc. The staff were excellent and friendly when we visited on a PH with the whole dining area full of customers! When the restaurant is busy, you are bound to have a little bit of wait so we really don’t mind at all. Cakes were as usual generously served. We had the flourless orange cake and it was moist, not too sweet, and the ice cream complimented the cake really nicely. I will definitely be back again.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ PS Cafe finally opened up in Katong area! It’s perfectly situated and the ambience is really hip. The service is amazing and the food is your usual PS Cafe fare. The truffle fries and cakes are to-die-for! Pricing is always a tad premium but well worth it.

Always loved the fresh blooms on display
Beer battered fish and chips best eaten piping hot.
The fries was sadly short and small. Seemed over done.
Roast chicken was an interesting texture. It felt dry though and under flavoured.
Service crew were attentive. However, diners seated away from their view would have difficulty catching their attention.
It would be good for them to position themselves to face diners sitting behind the huge floral vase centrepiece.
