Painting service is good. Quick response and able to schedule quickly. They even work on weekends and public holidays. Good painting job by painters with reasonable pricing too. Recommended.

I called up this place to do a painting for my 5 room flat. Unexpectedly, it turns out they outsource their painting services to other contractors as my receipt invoice was provided from Island Construction and Engineering Pte Ltd. I was negotiating with Ali. The reason why I gave a 2 stars was because they did a fast painting job as i chose all white and the price felt reasonable. However, the fast job resulted in several spots being missed and patch marks on certain sections of the wall which was seen with the sunlight shining into the room. Why i did not give the remaining three stars was the lack of professionalism and delay in appointments and the constant chasing to get a reply from them. Initially, no site review was one and i was told to send a video of my house to let them see the house. Next, after the painting was done, I told them about the spots being missed and i was told by Ali that they will provide touch up services. Initially, i fixed an appointment and i had to postpone it as my parents were not feeling well and we managed to confirm another date and time (2-3pm) which was good since i had an appointment in the later afternoon. However, on that date, I was waiting for the painter to come and he still did not come. When I texted Ali, i was notified that he was still in the midst of another job and ended up, i told him to reschedule since they are going to be late and i had to attend to another appointment. Then, it became a chasing for me where i had to text him 3 times but till date I only received a sorry but no update on when he would come down to paint. The office keeps telling me to call Ali but Ali is also not really giving me an update. Overall, I feel that the price and painting was not of value for the trouble being caused. Update (02/01/2022): I made an appointment with Ali earlier to come down on 02 January 2022 at 9am. However, we waited for 50 minutes past 9am and upon contacting him, he informed that his guy was out with friends and he only can make it on 12pm. I had other appointments and again, he did not give me any prior update till i contacted him. This is really unprofessional and the company also does not seem to give a reply though i have emailed them thrice and upon calling i am told that Ali will contact me. Such a disappointment in terms of accountability. Please avoid this company at all costs.

UPDATE of service recovery at bottom of review. Used PS Painting Service and the painting job was contracted to Mr Ali and his team. There was a hollow bump in the ceiling but that was solved quickly with an additional fee on top of previously quoted. However after the paint job has been completed, we noticed that there was an entire line of cracked hollow bump from top to bottom of another part of the wall. We enquired Mr Ali and his response was that it was “existing” prior to the paint job they have done and was only covered up by our previous paint thus was not obvious. However, if that was really the case, they would have told us about it before the paint job and not after it has been completed. Just as it was for the hollow ceiling. I am not sure whether they wanted to save time and effort and did not bother to inform us PRIOR the paint job. Also, a part of the ceiling was not painted which is very obvious. Some parts of the white paint are not even and there are also bubbles on the wall. We called their service hotline, and spoke to their receptionist Ainee. When we requested to speak to someone who knows about paint, she repeatedly answered that she will let Mr Ali know and for him to contact us. All I wanted is to ask some questions to someone who knows about paint. It is very ridiculous how a painting company does not have a single employee that knows about paint based on what the receptionist tells us repeatedly that they contract their services out to other contractors and for us to look for their contractors instead. Doubting the professionalism of the company as when there seems to be issues, no one wants to take up the responsibility and answer any of our questions. _____________________________ UPDATE: 2 days after the paint job was completed. Was contacted by Michael of PS Painting after posting this review on the same day the paint job was completed. He did a superb job in service recovery and understanding our situation through a phone call. We understand that the company provide a wide range of services other than painting and there may be occasions where they do not know the performance of their contractors unless the issue is brought up on the customers’ end. Mr Ali kindly provided us with a touch up of the ceiling and the hollow bump on the wall was solved quickly in a few hours after knocking the part off, plastering it and painting that section again. Appreciate the help provided in service recovery but this complicated and taxing situation could have been prevented in the first place. Everyone’s time is precious. Ultimately, thumbs up to Michael from PS Painting for doing a great job and contacting us again after the touch up. Cheers!

Ali and his crew from Island Construction and Engineering did an excellent job in the painting. Preparation work was good and painting was completed within one day.

Ali and team did a great job painting our office at reasonable cost. They covered all the spots and unevenness well. Though there was slight miscommunication on the schedule, they completed the project right on time! Thank you! ?

Reliable and affordable. Mr Ali explained very clearly before i decided to get my 2 toilet ceiling painted. The painter did a wonderful, professional and meticulous job within the 2hrs. Quite impressive must say. Thank you Mr Ali ?

Excellent job done by this team - prompt and professional response, work completed early and to a very high standard. Price was right - got quoted silly rip-off price by another company, but PS Painting Service was fair and accurate. Everything tidy and well done. Highly recommended!
