Pura Brasa Singapore - 5 Wallich St

It is obvious that this restaurant is shorthanded. One (maybe plus an half) staff needed to take care of eight tables and it was ludicrous watching them argue with each other. Now let’s talk about food here - The only good dish was the grilled octopus leg and the rest of dishes were quite underwhelming, the wagyu beef burger was definitely a NO-GO, the burger buns were soggy and powdery, the beef patties were overly cooked and became very chewy… Chaotic was the impression Ieft with for this Spanish restaurant.

Pork ribs were very good, it was the best dish we had there. Will visit again to have it. Seafood paella was good but a bit too overpowering for me. Octopus was okay, nothing special. Service was good.

The best Spanish restaurant that I’ve tried thus far in Singapore! The tapas were awesome, seafood paella is the best! Didn’t really like the wagyu, looking forward to return with bigger company to try the dry aged beef. Service staff were all superb, kudos to the whole team, already looking forward to return!

I would say this is one of the best Spanish dining experience I had locally in Singapore. Their paella is nice and they have a wide range of cocktails and drink choices. The staffs that I had met are also friendly, experienced and attentive.

Had an enjoyable dinner with friend. Their charcoal seafood paella was flavourful and perfect to me but slightly too salty to my friend. And their Spanish Omelette was delicious too. Always better to reserve a table before coming in case of long queue. Wonderful experience here and will come back to try more dishes!

Quite authentic Spanish restaurant in Singapore. Definitely worth a try! Tried their Charcoal seafood paella which was really delicious, just slightly too salty, else it will be perfect. And also why clams instead of mussels for paella? Ordered Half Portion of Spanish Pork Ribs too. The portion is quite generous, tasty as well. If to improve, the pork ribs can slightly be more juicy. Ended the meal with a lemon tart! Overall is a good resto with friendly staffs.

Great atmosphere and friendly waiters with excellent service make this place a recommended affordable place to try Spanish Cuisine in Singapore. I heartily recommend the Half Ribs for its price and portion! And the Paella rice dish is pretty good too ?

My first outing to the restaurant. Very good food. The surprise was the pork ribs which is a must order item. The meat is juicy and soft...and fall off bone easily. Sauces are provided separately and so good for people who does not like their ribs overpowered by the sauces. Have awesome table service by Farrah who was very friendly and attentive to our needs. Kudos to her 5 star service!!! But can't say the same for her colleague who came to our table suddenly and shove us the bill. She mumbled some words which I gathered is about us having to pay and leave the restaurant because other people are waiting for the tables. I appreciate that restaurants need to turnover tables but chasing customers out is not the solution. The better way would have been for her to explain first that there are people outside waiting for tables and it is raining and should ask us politely whether we would like to have our bill now. The decision should be ours as the restaurant does not have a time limit policy (at least I am not aware) and we were only there for just 1 hour. Our experience with the restaurant has been let down by this which would otherwise has been a great one given the food and the wonderful service by Farrah.
