There were at least 3 occasions throughout my hour's meal where they exceeded my service expectations, with the most notable one being served a pair of clean chopsticks less than 5 seconds after dropping it. The service staff was behind me, which meant I wasn't aware of her presence. The manager on duty was carrying his smiles throughout the floor, which felt very welcoming. All of their attitudes were exceptional. Great job, really! I'd think the food to be slightly overpriced, like the sweet and sour pork for $15. BUT it was slightly different. It tasted sweeter and the cut was larger. The duck wrapped in yam was okay. Nothing to shout about and I wouldn't think the combination was interesting or anything. The intestine was the most disappointing... But the fried eggplant with pork floss was extremely good! Now, its time to see if the other outlets offer such great service. Keep it up!
L	Leonn Ho on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Sweet and sour pork was crisp and taste was not overpowering - most worthwhile dish. Kailan with tofu skin was good but not spectacular. Fried yam duck might have been better with sauce. But service was good and I was so pleasantly surprised with the flower they'd prepared for mothers on Mothers' day!
B	Bernard Tay on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Been many years for the last time to be eating in Putien even way before they got the Michelin star. Try them out again at GWC branch. Service of the staffs is definitely superb. But the menu had changed so much that all just concentrating on fish dishes. Was shocked that couldn’t find a simple local dishes here. What is the most simple i could find is the Lor Me and Heng Hua Beehoon. Ordered 2 dishes with a Tie Guan Yin of $8 bucks each. I would say that it is indeed overpriced in their food and nothing much simple if you’re looking for one. I will still prefer till years later than will see how’s their food and prices are going.

Ordered the croaker fish in claypot , it’s nice and comforting, the sweetness of the milky fish soup shines in this dish. The bee Hoon needs no introduction, always a crowd favourite . Had the seasoned oyster, it’s a cooked dish , though oyster were not large , it’s was plump and not over cooked . Why this review is getting 5 star , we were surprised with complimentary tang Yuan dessert as its Dong Zhi today .

Fried beehoon was unforgettable and steamed Yellow Croaker was very sweet and delicious. Dessert stewed pear was sweet and satisfying. Besides the delicious food, the customer service was excellent! We were most impressed with Mr SenYik Lim who spoke such fluent Mandarin and English. He was highly attentive and so very patient in listening to and answering my mum's countless questions! Thanks for the wonderful dining experience!

The location leaves a bit to be desired since it’s basically an open concept restaurant in Great World City, but the food and service are very good. The yellow croaker is of course one of their specialties and recommended if you like fish. The red mushroom noodles are also really good. I’ve never had a bad meal here and the menu is a little different from your more typical Chinese restaurants, so it makes for a nice change now and again. I’d recommend giving it a try.
