β β β β β Excellent local cuisine.
Our our way to night safari, our taxi driver recommended us to drop by AMQ to try out the local cuisine, and we notice this shop has the longest queue around so we decided to give it a try, me and my wife can't stop referring to this as a highligh of our trip.
It was simply the best roast chicken rice we ever had.
Setting is very local but we find it very clean. a very good place to check get a taste of the local lifestyle.

Chicken rice 3.5* - Average standard, decent portion with a tad too salty sauce. A plus for making the chicken boneless.

Peanut soup - Slightly bland but refreshing hot soup to go with the chicken rice. Yummy peanuts can be found at the bottom of the bowl.

β β β β β A good and satisfying meal of chicken rice and chicken peanut soup. Iβm not saying itβs the best plate of chicken rice but itβs been consistent.
What you get for $3.50:
A bowl of rice cooked in chicken stock. Mildly flavoured, possibly below average in comparison to the fragrant rice served at typical stalls.
Tender and fragrant chicken. Large potion sizes served on a bed of bean sprouts doused in a soya sauce blend.
Chilli has a slight spice. Its flavour profile leans towards sour/acidic, lacks a certain depth from the absence of chicken oil and is less viscous in consistency.
Soup is simple but heartwarming. Still disappointed that the bowls had to be downsized.
An extra bowl of rice for sharing costs $0.80.

β β β β β Standard has dropped badly. A set meal with salty veggies and slivers of chicken, quite a few pieces not even flesh just the skin. Only saving grace the nice peanut soup. Never will patronise this stall again!

β β β β β Qi Le Boneless Chicken Rice @ Ang Mo Kio Central - Though the queue was long, it moved relatively fast so waiting time wasnβt as bad as we thought.
This stall served up both poached chicken and roast chicken rice from $3.50 and up. They also had additional sides like chicken feet, bean sprouts and oyster sauce vegetables. The free soup worked on a rotation basis so thereΒ wouldΒ be a different oneΒ everyday.
The white chicken was served boneless on a bed of beansprouts with fried garlic bits on top. I loved the accompanying sauce and fried garlic

β β β β β The chicken portion given to me is so tiny. They cut it so thinly in the first place and then sliced it into very narrow strips. I donβt even feel half full after eating the chicken rice set together with the vegetable, a bowl or rice and the soup.

β β β β β Love the chicken rice. It has been quite a long time didn't eat in here. I remembered it was 8 years ago. Still the same taste only price different.
The best part is the bone soup with the ground nuts. It has the crunchy thing which makes it even better. I always put the black soy sauce on the rice to eat with.
