Heard about this place on SNS. Ordered a half chicken set for $20 and it was too much for 2 people. Chicken was nice and flavourful. Thankfully chicken breast wasn’t too dry. Rice was just ok.

A good zichar place. Our standard order - Egg Fried Rice (add more eggs), salted egg sotong, stir fry kailan or broccoli, sweet and sour pork or sweet and sour pork ribs (ζŽ’ιͺ¨ηŽ‹). Their slice fish bee hoon soup with added bittergourd is one of my favourite too.

Price was ok, not my first time eating here, I taste more flour instead of the meat, i hope they can improve on it. Suggest you not to order those meat that they fried it b4 coating with sauces as there isn't much meat in, breading is thick.

Missing Malacca very much and have told some members here that I had an incomplete journey to Malacca when covid closed all borders. When I crave chicken rice balls, I w make a trip to Blk 442 Jurong West Avenue 1 Coffeeshopβ€”Qi Lin Xuan Curry Chicken Mee stall. Delicious, great chilli, and tasty soup that goes v well with the chicken rice (balls). The Chef is also very down-to-earth and friendly. The chicken rice (ball) eateries in Malacca - how are they doing?

Chicken rice balls are a rare find in Singapore. Portions are fine for the price, however the sauce used on the Char Siew is the same as the chicken, and it didn't seem to match well. Fried shallots used for the vegetable is the factory pre-made kind, dry and does not go well with it, would have also preferred it to be the wet type stir fried with the vegetables. Overall still a pleasant experience.

Chicken rice balls, where most people relate to this delicious dish to Malacca, is a rare sight in Singapore. In fact, ever since Good Year at Toa Payoh Lor 1 closed last year, this is the only chicken rice ball place that I know of. The quality of their rice ball is really fine. The texture is perfectly in between grainy and soft. The nice balance of garlic aroma makes every bite addictive. The chicken is fresh but slightly dry. The soup is a bit on the salty side. If not for the chicken and soup, this would have deserved a 5 stars. A plate costs $4 and comes with 3 rice balls. Their curry mee could be worth a try. They also serve tze char dishes from noon. Overall, for those who miss their Malacca food, this is worth a trip to try.
