Queenstown

This is a residential area but there’s a Fairprice near MRT. And you also can walk or take bus to anchor point shopping centre and ikea Alexandra to buy some other things:) I was used to live here so I can recommend someone to live as it’s very quiet and safe area:)

The MRT is unlike the other MRT’s in Singapore. It has no shopping malls or shops at all except for 7/11 and 2 small cafes. It is surrounded by a residential area. The station is clean.

This mrt station is at west-east line, linking changi airport and jurong town. (Jurong birds park,) terminal at tuas. Two coffee shops ,mr bean , 2 atms for ocbc and dbs is here. Walking down from exit, and turn right , a condominium 'yu lan' (玉兰楼) can be seen. Following the covered pedestrian walk way. You reach' lea hin' (立兴五金)metal factory, achorage shopping centre mitsubishi electric, ikea (宜家)furniture factory at alexandra rd . Further down ,after crossing the traffic light/main rd , it is queen town shopping centre where you can choose your favourite sports equipments like sports shoes, sunglasses, ; and also allexandra village hawkers centre where you can take variety of food, delicious and cheap. So the mrt station is very convènient for traffic;sightseeing ; eating and shopping .

This is a neighborhood train station. Do not expect it to have retailers like other stations. They do have a few F&B shops, great for buying breakfast before work or dinner before home. If you need to go Ikea, take bus 195, towards Queensway.

Older, above ground mrt. A few coffee shops on the same level as the ticketing concourse. Only one escalator and one staircase from road level to the mrt level but there is also one lift. On either side on road level are bus stops but no shops. Flanked by condos on one side of the road and a church and hdb flats on the other.

Never patronize the eatery located at Queenstown MRT station. The prices are expensive, food are tasteless and not nice. Mee Hoon + Chicken Wing = $3 The other 2 packets I ordered cost $4 each.

This station has some reasonably priced heartland chow on 2F (just before gantry gates), not visible from the road

MRT station with plenty of connections! Next to Alexandra Canal Linear Park with great views and greeneries True Way Presbyterian Church Queenstown Swimming Complex and Stadium NTUC Fairprice at Dawson Place Leng Kee Community club Mei Ling Market Stiriling Road Hawker Centre and NTUC. Plenty of local delights and Western food shopping banking postage library cinemas entertainments dinning and amenities. Friendly fast attentive cosy comfy welcoming ambience for romantic intimates groups students tourists Expats locals visitors and families.
