Addressing reply from vendor: I believe you'd need to clarify the statement from your customer service associate. There's read receipt (seen) feedback on carousell and I am certain my questions were seen but not attended to until I pressed for answers a number of days later. Regardless I understand human will make errors, I am just stating facts and I believe my review on the service has been fair. Regarding the remedy offered, perhaps you'd like to put yourself in the consumer's shoes - you're essentially selling me a defective good that you can't/shouldn't sell and masking it as a "goodwill" discount. Why would I want to pay more money for a defective replacement for an inferior product? If you're equally shocked by your mattress breaking, have you considered that the mattress you sold me had failed your initial QC? Initial feedback: Service: Prompt pre-sale service. Post sale service was rather inconsistent, some replies were prompt, the more recent ones took a while and needed reminders. Product: Bought the cot + mattress. Cot is of decent quality, still in good shape after more than a year of use, but I can't say the same for the mattress, which corner came off while sheets were being changed. Vendor doesn't offer repair services, was offered a defective replacement at a "goodwill" discount which I turned down. Honestly am appalled that a mattress could break apart, don't recall reading anything about it being fragile.
