Great route to walk or bike. The rail corridor is a really long trail going from Karanji to Tanjong Pagar. More accurately, its a group of trails connected together. It used to be more "wild" and undeveloped but recently, many parts have been paved and it's more of a recreational path rather than a hiking trail. Nonetheless, you can choose how many hours you want to walk and go through lush green forests, stop at rest stops like the Rail Mall, walk through peaceful neighborhoods, and take cool pictures at the railroad stations and tracks.

Started from the pathway behind beauty world. The journey from here to queens town was enjoyable as the view is quite different. The highlight has to be the instagrammable bridge and the big open area near Clementi forest. The long stretch towards the end was beside AYE which was rather boring and the stretch doesn’t have much shade so make sure to apply sunblock.

Taking the shortcut from the Quarry, over the old bridge lead me here. Beautiful, historic route with the signs left remaining for added effect.

An easy pleasant long straight walk after the recently upgraded walkways. Started later morning from Jelita entrance point and end the walk at the Rail Mall. Took about an hour 15min. Though I still prefer it when it was still previously more untouched paths. The iconic Bukit Timah train station is now also under 'refurbishing' so is not accessible. Still pleasant regardless.

18 Jan 2022: Visit #2 and we took the same route, started from Upper Bukit Timah truss bridge to Hindhede Crossing plus a detour to Hindhede Nature Park and Quarry. Relaxing walk and along the way, we get to enjoy the beautiful lush green and fresh air 23 Aug 2021: First visit to Rail Corridor Central to witness a piece of history that was left for us to remember and get close……a former KTM railway line and a Truss Bridge. Amazing and like many others; we also took a walk to Hindhede Crossing plus a detour to Hindhede Nature Park. Long stretch of lush green, scenic path and a great place for walk, jog or cycle. Great to feel the closeness to nature and just love the sound of the running water from the little streams (most of our drains are now covered)

A very scenic walk that leads you all the way to Buona Vista MRT. Paved pathway and not muddy paths. Great for people who like to have walks in nature parks. Did not get to see any wildlife though.

Started the new year 2022 by immersing in the calming and scenic forests to be away from the buzzling city. A great way to connect with nature by speed walking on a very flat terrain. The path is established which makes walking very easy for all ages. Do note there are soil, mini pebbles to give the vibes of railway walking instead of concrete pavement. Did a 1.5 hour walk from the Railway Mall to the Buona Vista - The Star Vista. Great exercise.
