Good collection of tamil books for primary kids

Very good service. Went to buy tamil preschool/nursery educational posters and books from here. Staff was very helpful and offered suggestions on what to buy. They also have kindergarten & primary school resources in both tamil and english. Will definitely visit again!

Purchased a bunch of books worth over $70 on 30 April evening, just before closing. Got home and realized that my kids already have a few of them. 1 May was a holiday and went back on 2 May to get those books changed, which wasn’t accepted by the Store. Over 10 minutes of explanation and back and forth, but the person at the store refused to exchange the books. Ended up with books that paid for and not going to be used. Yes - they do have a sign inside the store that refunds and exchanges are not allowed, which I missed while purchasing. There should be some flexibility around exchanges and shouldn’t be so rigid, basically with no customers’ interest in mind. With just a few stores for Tamil books in Singapore, if I have a choice, I would love to avoid the store. I can’t give 0 stars rating, so I had chosen to give 1 star.

Have been buying from them for 10 years. And recently bought 4 sets of a particular book. But, I didn't get to see the content and unfortunately I didn't collect the books myself. The advice was that it will be appropriate for P2 level. Upon checking the book it was too tough for an average P2 kid. And it doesn't cover unit 3 & 4 of the P2 A syllabus. The book covers grammar components and sentence based work from the very beginning. any P2 kid will only be learning Alphabets and words in connection with the alphabets. All these grammer components are more for P3 kids. Hence, the book is totally of no use to me and I've bought 4 of such books. They firmly declined to exchange stating their policy and also that they don't exhange due to photocopying issues. I've bought 4 such books. So definitely not for photocopying purposes. Yet, they refused to exchange. Now, I've got 4 such books which they expect me to sell to other kids or use for next year. (Not for them to advise). They also claim if they exchang they will have to fork out their own money???? How will that happen when I'm returning the book and will be definitely topping up if needed? Clearly taking advantage of customers and they are ready to loose loyal customers.

Yesterday I came to the shop for the first time. There were a good variety of Tamil assessment books catered to local Singapore school syllabus available in the shop. I bought some flashcards and charts which were relevant to my child’s reading needs. The charts were also engagingly colourful and nice. Currently they are at a convenient location and staff are always ready to help and assist and there is no hard selling or hidden cost.

One stop publication to get Tamil assessment books. I've been buying from them for about 5 years. Satisfied with the materials and my kids were able to practise regularly.
