Had a great experience getting a ready made sari and custom blouse stitched. Durga aunty was very patient and gave a lot of helpful input to the design of the blouse. The tailoring was also done well with a lot of attention to detail with the design as well as convenience of wearing the blouse. We were also given a lot of advise on how to wear and upkeep the sari. Would definitely recommend to anyone looking to get any tailoring done ?

I got 3 blouses stitched from Shubh Laxmi Tailoring. Durga/Bhavna mam very patiently discusses each blouse design and provides suggestions. The final fitting was simply fabulous! My blouses were given timely to me and I'm extremely happy with them. I am a firm believer that a good fitting and beautiful design blouse brings the whole look together! This place meets your needs if you are looking for high quality tailoring!

Durga ji is very attentive to details. She managed to stich my blouse and Saree a week earlier than the promised date. The Saree turned out so beautiful and flattering. I stitched a fully covered blouse and she understood the mission. So thankful that’s she cater to my needs perfectly.

Thanks for rushing to make my ready to wear saree as I need to travel out of Singapore. Delivered on time as promised. Aunty Durga spent a lot of time going through different design options with me and making sure that final design is what I wanted. Loved the style we chose as it really suited me. Can’t wait to show it off especially since it looks so much better than if I had to tie it myself. (P.S. mother-in-law loves the end product)

I have been going here for a few years and I no longer will be going her as I found another tailor. Bad: 1) The shop is very untidy and messy. With needles on the floor and a needle went up my foot. What a hazard! 2) Extremely expensive for a blouse at $68 OR $58 sometimes depends on customer - not inclusive of lining, padding and ANY additional design stone work etc. lining + $6, padding +$12. You can do it at other shops for $55 all inclusive 3) Takes 1 month to do blouse whilst other shop can do it faster. Good: Tailor is very friendly and patient I don't deny. And able to alter on the spot during collection but so does everyone else. All the reviews mentioned how friendly the tailor is but that is not good enough to recommend the shop. Do not spend your money here. It is NOT worth it. Overcharges for bridal blouses. They do not do embroidery here as well.

Best ladies tailoring shop in Singapore. Durga aunty is so sweet and she gives design advices considering your choices so it makes the experience easy. She gave some complementary items too.
