β β β β β Been wanting to visit this ramen shop for the longest time and finally I have the time to visit it.
With a small variety, which is a good thing , they promise you the best thing they can offer. And it didnβt disappoint. I was sitting by the window at 3 pm and when the ramen came, it was glistening. The vibe of the stall reminds me of the time when I visited a small ramen stall in Tokyo on my way back to my hotel one night. The broth was on the fatty side. Not oily just fatty which is not a bad thing. Adds flavor. The soup immediately brings a good warm the body. Itβs the type of broth that you can have it without having to feel thirsty after that. So it wasnβt salty or anything but a good texture and feels like it was fuse with goodness. Ramen texture was amazing. Just the right amount of firmness and yet ease to bite. The taste flavour of the Raman itself was great too. The meat texture and taste was great too. Non of those meaty smell but a good well cooked, good texture and taste piece of meat
Itβs alittle Inconvenient now at the suntec outlet due to covid but I would definitely come again. ???

β β β β β Broth here is noticeably less thicc than the full-bodied collagen broths Iβm used to when having tonkotsu ramen. It does make for a pleasantly-light bowlβ prob more suited for those who typically enjoy a shoyu ramen β but doesnβt quite hit the spot for me. To be clear, this isnβt a criticism on the tare, but the broth. Also, they messed up the egg! ?
I was here for a weekday lunch; the restaurant is extremely hot and lacks ventilation. Food arrived very quickly, so that was a plus. But my overall experience was middling on most accounts so I wonβt be back if I can help itβ¦

β β β β β First time and pricey but worth it.
$1.30 for free-flow of nice roasted Japanese tea. Cup a little small. About 100 ml size.
Noodles is good in its texture and tasted.
We order the red king original butao king and green king.
4 star only cos it pricey. We will be back for our ramen fix if in Suntec ???

β β β β β Read good things about this place but unfortunately my taste buds disagreed.
We had the black king which is a black garlic based soup with squid ink amongst its ingredients. Didn't taste as rich as I would have liked based on the description of the dish.
We also had the award winning Butao King.
This is a pork based broth; something you would expect a ramen restaurant to nail. It was quite bland to be honest. I normally would finish most of the soup in a nice ramen dish but I left it more than half full.
Don't bother with the cha siu rice.
The noodles for both dishes were well done though.

β β β β β Best Tonkotsu Ramen in Singapore in my opinion. Simple yet thick and tasty broth, bouncy noodles, melt in your mouth pork belly at an affordable price compared to other ramen joints! This branch has great decor and is spacious with lots of spaced out seats. Your hearty ramen is ready to be devoured in less than 5 minutes after ordering! Make sure to choose Pork Belly, I think its better than char siew.. and add tamago for the full ramen experience ;)

β β β β β Finally get to try the ramen champion and I was not disappointed. Had the original and the red ramen and also the chicken kariaage. The original ramen was perfect with just the noodle texture and the right richness of the soup. The spicy one was a bit too overpowering in terms of the spice level. Lastly, the chicken balls were the highlight. Very crispy, very juicy. The chicken kariaage balls is a must order.

β β β β β A pretty decent slurp. I had the Butao King, which is basically a medium impact tonkotsu ramen with firm, straight noodles and some toppings. Broth is pretty smooth and had good depth to it. There is a light but distinct garlic punch in it, which I quite liked. Noodles come with a good bite and blend nice with the negi. The aji tama as extra topping was really nice, spot on and pretty flavorful. Overall, a bowl I could have more often.
