I've been a regular at REDS Hairdressing for a decade now. I like it that I can just walk in knowing that all their hairstylists have many years of experience which helps me trust their recommendations and skills. (Apparently, they don't have 'junior stylists' or 'stylists-in-training' in their team.) Tip: Book an appointment in advance and avoid their peak periods if you're someone who prefer to be given extra attention.

Needed a hair cut and decided to pop into Reds hairdressing at Orchard Road - even w/o an appointment and being on a busy weekend i appreciated the fact that they managed to find me a good time for a hair cut. She was very polite and knew exactly what I wanted. Reminiscent of a high street hairdresser's back home. Will pop by again the next time

On the pricey side, for a basic haircut I paid $69. The service was bad when they washed my hair they didn’t even give a massage and the whole process felt very rushed. I was not relaxed at all!! Hairdresser also kept trying to sell me services.

Pleasantly surprised that their standards are still as good as a decade ago. The prices are really reasonable for what you get. I used to frequent this outlet until I moved my office. Super from the point of consultation, to the hair wash & massage, to the hair cut, treatment and blow out. I enjoyed the biscuits & coffee as well. I got the spring in my hair back and felt really good starting a brand new work week this way. Will be back for sure.

They do not honor the timing mentioned in the google listing. They have mentioned that they are open until 9 but closed the place before 8!

I always come here to have my haircut with my stylist, Alan. He’s very friendly and can recommend new styles to suit you. Very efficient and professional, he is highly recommend! I love their Kerastase products and treatment services. They also sell Shiseido products as well.

Worst experience I've had with a hair salon, and I've been to many in the Orchard area. Writing this review to caution future customers to be careful when engaging in their services. I had a simple trim - the cut was average, but the pricing was extremely dishonest. The price list provided at the front desk reads $46-$69.60 before GST for ladies cut, wash & blow dry but I was charged $91 after GST for a simple trim, wash & blow dry. When asked about the price difference between the listed and charged price, the front desk was extremely rude and told me that "usually people who cut hair in Orchard don't even look at price lists". What kind of response is that? If there are additional charges I expect my ASSIGNED hairstylist (Pauline) to be honest and upfront about it to me before cutting my hair, instead of blindly quoting an unlisted price of $85 and sending me off. The front desk went on to say that this price is from their updated price list and the price list that's DISPLAYED AT THE FRONT DESK has not been updated for 3-4 years! what? But she did not pull up any official reissued price list to show me (digitally, online or whatsoever) and simply quoting that out of her mouth. She added that the price was quoted by the hairstylist and so the front desk lady tried to gaslight me by saying that I CHOSE this hair stylist when she knew that she was the one on the phone who assigned this stylist to me. She made another gaslighting attempt when a more senior staff came around and lied to him that my original hair length was below chest area when it was 2-3 inches above my sternum! Insane response. I only expected more transparency and honesty in such dealings and the way this was being dealt with was mind-blowing. Read some other reviews on here and another beauty review website that the dishonest pricing is prevalent even after a quote has been given. Do your research and be warned.

The cut is good, but make sure to check the price before you accept the service. I was told a day before that the price was $40.70 and made the booking for the next day. After the cut, I was told the price is $50.48. I mentioned that I was told $40.70 yesterday and they said the best they can discount to is $48.70. dishonest salon which I wouldn’t patronise again… be warned
