Restaurant Poise - 6 Teck Lim Rd

Had a lovely birthday dinner at Restaurant Poise. The restaurant is so sleek and modern. The food was bursting with umami and each mouthful just had to be savoured slowly. Stand out dishes were the marron, coq au vin, roast pigeon and the humble potato dish (which Chef worked some magic on). Service was also excellent, and Maisie’s shared enthusiasm over the dishes made it a very fun experience.

A fine blend of European cuisine with Nordic elements. Energetic and unintimidating vibe coupled with tentative service provides for the perfect venue for serious gourmands or casual hang-outs. The spectacular wine selection is also not to be missed!

Great experience at Poise. The interior is beautifully designed like a showcase with beautiful wood claddings. Sitting in front out of the private room allows you to see the kitchen operations and chef at work better. The dishes were very meticulously treated and prepared that seeks to bring out the natural flavours to the richest without external seasoning. The ingredients were also imported and kept freshes and alive before it was cooked. Chef told stories of the potatoes prepped/ cooked for a month to bring out the best in flavours and the Marons alive kn the fridge before cooking them. The fav dishes were the maron and chef’s version of coq au vin.

An awesome dinner at Poise. Wanted to compliment Chef Steve for the wonderful meal and his team for making me feel so valued as a diner. He really has lots of surprises in his sleeves and lots of aged treasures in his kitchen. The staff there were really friendly and attentive and able to take care of everyone's needs and able to make the meal so enjoyable. To food was definitely a feast for the five senses: using hands to touch and eat the food, the aroma of the food, a pleasure to the taste buds, the theatrical presentation of the dishes and last but not the least, this is one of the most rare places in fine dining where you have such a wonderfully curated music playlist to enjoy throughout the meal. Definitely a 2 thumbs up for everyone in Poise. If you ask me what I find it most memorable? It has to be the chicken and the marron. And also let me know if you sell the cultured cream in tubs :P

Executive Chef Steve Lancaster and his team have surpassed my expectations of great fine dining in Singapore with his new restaurant. Chef has pulled together a meticulously planned menu which marries a myriad of outstanding rare ingredients to blend into a perfect symphony. The burst of flavors delights with every bite. Wine list was extensive and fairly priced. Service was impeccable as the serving team was attentive and knowledgeable, proactive and full of enthusiasm. Ambience was super comfortable with precise lighting and seat placements gave us a sense of peace, away from the hustle and bustle of a stressful work day. Congratulations chef and team for putting together a great menu and giving us a totally delightful experience. Will definitely be back.
