I always take this to go omg so good. It is still $2 for a rice cake that is still plump with shrimps and shiitake mushrooms. Uncle I love you. Yeah I got takeaway. I saw some tourists and told them about this place. They didn’t patron it. They went with their normal fried noodles stuff. Ignorant af.

This uncle selling AKK for only 60 cents! Where can you find such cheap AKK these days in Singapore. Not sure what he’s earning from it as the size of AKK is huge and the filling is a lot. Three flavours: peanut, savoury (I like this most) and sweet mung bean filling. Old school taste and not too oily. His wa kueh is nice too and he’s very generous with the sauce. Never seen this wa kueh anywhere else in Singapore, something unique. Uncle is very friendly and kind, do support him when you’re nearby Maxwell!

The AKK is $1 now but it has so much of filling. The peanuts filling reminds me of the typical muah chee when cut into small pieces and mix it and the salty Tau Sha filling is so yummy with shallots. Wah Kueh is delicious. This is definitely a dying snack in SG. Always sold out by the time I knocked off from work 7+pm.
