We engaged Rodex in Jan’18 for the packing and moving services. While their price was competitive their services were less than stellar. The team that came and did the packing and moving did a good job, it was the admin staff in their office that dropped the ball in my opinion. First of all when we visited their offices before engaging their services, we already have an uneasy feeling with their admin staff. Questions were answered half heartedly, no direct answers were given, they were unsure and unable to answer to most of our queries and we were simply asked to make an appointment for a site survey - which we did. Prior to the move, we made payments and communicated to the staff via emails.. emails were not responded or acknowledged and they were still chasing payments even though we have mode transfers and notified them via emails - this gives me the feeling that they simply didn’t check their emails or transactions. The same problem led on to after the move when we called them to collect the remaining boxes after we unpacked. I had to chase them over several days to get someone to collect the cardboard boxes. Everytime they mentioned they will come on the day, they never showed up, when I called to ask the standard answers given were that they will check with their β€œcounterparts” and return the call. Calls were never ever returned. As I am typing this feedback, they have yet to send someone to pick up the boxes after chasing and waiting around at home for the last 3 days. Do not engage them unless you are ready to put up with this level of service.

Don't write reviews but stay away from this company. Scratched my table, smash picture, destroyed my plants, arrived late. told even though I paid extra for insurance not covered. When I finally speak to someone very rude.

Have used them a couple of times, but every time more disappointing and absolutely no regard for customer loyalty. On our last move they damaged both our brand new fridge and a new baby cot and we had a real struggle to get any compensation from their heavy handed service. They offered us $50!!! for damage to $2500 worth of items - very insulting. We definitely won’t use again.

I am very happy I made the decision to go with Rodex Movers. The email correspondence prior to the move was clear and timely and Katie was always available to answer any questions. This was my first time moving apartments in the city and she laid out the process clearly. The price was also very competitive compared to estimates I got from other moving companies. On the day of the move, there were a total of 5 movers led by Azar, and they showed up exactly on time at 9AM as promised. They had me completely moved out of my old apartment in Holland Hill and into my new apartment in Green lane in 2.5 hours. The movers worked extremely fast and helped me pack some last minute fragile materials I needed assistance packing. These guys definitely knew what they were doing. Overall, the experience was seamless, and nothing was broken. I would definitely recommend these movers and will be using them in the future when I decide to move again.

I don't usually write bad reviews of companies as I understand the seriousness and adverse effect of such reviews. However, I have given enough chances to them before I decided to pen down my experience with them. Initially, the service rendered by the admin was not fantastic until I wrote another email to voice my dissatisfaction then she became more engaging. When I engaged their service, I highlighted numerous times to the staff who did the assessment and the admin to take extra care for my marble dining table. On the day of the move, I again highlighted many times to the movers to be very careful with the marble table. To my surprise, they only put cardboard protection on the 2 sides of the table and not on the middle part. In the evening after we were more settled down, I saw long and deep scratches and a chip at the edge of the middle part of the table. The repair cost is approx. $250-$300 but they insisted that they will only compensate $100. I don't think it's fair as I already mentioned numerous time and they take things for granted just because I didn't buy the insurance. In addition, many of my wine glasses and other small items broke. I'm not even talking about compensating those items. The management also ignore my request and this case has dragged for 1 over month. I reserve my rights to take further action.

Staff provided dates when we requested to collect some items and the dates are always less than 24hrs ahead. On top of that, we've had to chase up on availability as though Rodex are the customers in this business transaction. After attempting to arrange to collect some items on multiple occasions, staff says they don't allow collection and referred me to a clause in the terms that mentions no collection of items. In the next point under the terms, it was stated that any collection/retrieval of items will be duly charged contradicting the previous point. In fact, the charges were made known to us more than a month ago and we've informed them that we are fine with the charges. Now that we've decided that we've been taken for a ride and want to terminate this transaction from the poor handling, flip-flopping and outright lack of service, Rodex now tells us that they might not have dates available for us to move our items to another store. Like what is this world coming to? Feeling like we're being held ransom here and definitely does not feel like we're customers in this transaction.

Used this company for house moving. Before engaging them, they stated that their moving service includes simple assembly and disassembly. However, on the moving day, they claimed that they don't know how to assemble table legs and just left. When asked about it, they gave excuses like they moved more items than they expected to, they are unfamiliar with assembly, etc. It's a pity as they were experienced movers, but the company clearly doesn't care about professionalism and trustworthiness.

Happen to see this and surprised I didn't leave a review earlier. Engaged them back in 2018 and totally disappointing experience. You will have to watch closely for the damage they might cause. 1. The moving team made a dent on the bedroom wooden floor when trying to dismantle our super king bed. I was not in the room and heard a bang and run over. Of course they wouldn't admit... We argued with the admin afterwards through 24 email exchanges with no avail. 2. The moving team told me our sofa could not fit in the lift so needed to manually carry through stairs, and charged us cash (I forgot exactly how much). And told me NOT to tell their company about me giving them cash.... Later the company called me to check if I gave them extra money... You guess the monkey business behind this. Would not recommend to engage this company.
