The doctor was very dismissive towards my friend who experienced shortness of breath due to covid. When my friend came in, he took a look at my friend and immediately asked (my Singaporean Indian friend) if he’s unemployed. A question like this is unnecessary as it is no indicator of his health or state of being. Asking that would be indicative of either making assumptions of the patient’s employability by virtue of his appearance (or race), or checking with the patient if they’re covered under company insurance, which either way is unprofessional as his employment status clearly seemed to be a way to check if the patient is deserving of the doctor’s time. Afterwards, when my friend told him that his household has Covid, he irately asked my friend if he took ART. When my friend said he’s negative although he’s experiencing the symptoms (fever and breathlessness), he remarked “then see doctor for what?”. My friend explained he’s encountering trouble breathing, to which the doctor answered “you’re breathless cause you’re worried about covid”. This situation is concerning as, the doctor should have done the due diligence to check the patient’s symptoms before coming to that conclusion, and should know that ART negatives are not always reliable. I’m writing this here in hopes that the doctor would treat other Covid patients better, especially if they are encountering symptoms like trouble breathing. This is absolutely unacceptable.

Understand that with recent surge of cases healthcare system was overwhelmed thus never made a fuss even though had to wait for almost 2 hours before seeing the doctor.however it was an unpleasant experience with Dr tan teck tee.he was rude and showed no empathy at all. Brought my mum to clinic as she was having persistent fever for 4 days despite regular panadol ibuprofen at home however the moment we sat down in the consult room Dr tan didn't even made any eye contact. All he did was just looking at computer and typing. My mum could only speak mandarin but Dr tan never bothered to even try to talk to her in mandarin, instead just kept asking history in English. Then he shook his head and sighed loudly showing an impatient look during the consult as if we were stupid to visit clinic just for a fever. He then just proceeded to take blood test to screen for dengue, never even asked about medical history,never even bothered to take his stethoscope to check on my mum. All he did was just checked BP,repeat Temperature blood tests then discharged us. I understand doctors are tired from the relentless waves of patients but at least he could have showed a better bedside manner.

The clinic indicate it’s open at 6pm which 2 clinic assistant we’re on time indeed. But the doctor on duty at 7.20pm still see no sign of him at all. This doc obviously have not honour the oath that he have made To become a doc. I see poor children 3yr old have to come in and out the clinic to check when the doctor is coming. Pple who come to clinic are usually unwell and the doc from this clinic have never failed to make suffering patients wait for him. Dear doctor, u may be rich n thinking ur loved ones doesn’t need to go such neighbours clinic. But one day, when u are facing the same situation, I hope u will realize hundreds of patients u have treated them in such. If report late or very late is ur habit, u can indicate registration stats at 6pm. But consultation only start 7.20pm or later. I’m glad the nurses are really nice which they claimed they will call the patient when the doc arrives. (At least patients don have to keep coming back the clinic to check if doc arrives) The clinic wall are quite dusty also

Dr Tan is as close to a PD you can get without going to one. We stay at at woodlands but will see Dr Tan when ever possible. Dr Tan is patient and efficient. Just note that his clinic is not the usual PD clinic so bring some materials to keep your little one occupied.

Thanks doctor tan for the unpleasant experience in this so called, “Royal” Care Medical…..like seriously, zero customer service & lack of empathy towards the customer. He talked to me in a tone as if i own him money?? no wonder One Care Clinic has longer queue. But anyways the staff were all great & friendly, just not him.

Visited their clinic today. Super terrible experience with their clinic. I've waited for like 1hr and 44mins or more just to be addressed by the resident doctor. I have patience on waiting, but what I've experienced today is too much! Really unaacceptable. And also doctor when he's doing the diagnosis, he is pretty comfortable not wearing his mask. Simple protocol please! ? I will never visit this clinic again, NEVER!

Dr Tan was very patient and took good care of my mother. He gave excellent medical advice and the clinic continued to follow up over the next few days. Will definitely come back again.

Doctor is perfectly fine but very 1 star for the bad experience. You wouldn't want to wait almost 2 hrs for a doctor. Went on a weekend Saturday. Clinic opens 6pm but was informed by receptionist that doctor comes only at 630pm, 'He is running late' (doctor only arrived 715pm) Photo was taken at 7pm to show these patients have been there since 6pm & queue did not move since then. Nothing against the receptionists but as a doctor & having a business, for a 4 year old to wait 1 hour 30mins is certainly insane. How can a kid understand patience? No queue numbers, no nothing. We do not know what is going on outside. If you are coming on weekends, try to call them to ask how is the queue before heading down as this is the only clinic opened at Mirage. I would advise to go other nearby clinics. 1 star for bad experience.
