Much better options elsewhere in city area if you are seeking authentic muay thai..

This place is a big scam! This is more like a fitness spa than a real muay thai gym. The environment is nonetheless good and nice (open air) for training but everything about the training is wrong. For those who want to learn the real muay thai, do not come here, go somewhere with real trainers. I have never seen any fighters from RTF fighting in any competition. This says a lot about the gym

I don't understand why some salty joker had rated RTF one star and calling it a scam. Does he/she understand the meaning of scam? I have been training in RTF since February this year, from trial class to my package to the way the training sessions are conducted, everything is very clear and transparent, nothing as phony as the person calling it a scam. Before joining RTF, I was with Fight Zone at Novena Velocity, and had a 10-sessions PT package with a trainer, but I felt uncomfortable and awkward with most of the moves. At RTF, Master Chan deduced that I am a southpaw and orthodox stance didn't really suit me. From there on, I am smoother with my moves. RTF caters to different varieties of Muay Thai learners, from the novice, to the seasoned ones who go for amateur competition in Thailand. Master Chan and his team of trainers are dedicated and passionate with what they do. What I like most about RTF is its atmosphere, where we do our training while enjoying each other's company, like a big family.

Started training here, and have been with them for almost 4years now. Love the open roof with fresh air, beautiful weather and sunset. Everyone there has good family vibes from all sorts of background, I met so many cool and interesting people here. Khan 3 training is the best, its a good fitness challenge, and learning the traditional Wai-Kru dance for amateur fights, which is held every year in Thailand. They are one of a kind training traditional muay thai no BS. Would recommend it to my family and friends!

Been training at RTF for about 1.5 years. Its' a fun and safe environment, a good mix of students ( male/female) at different skill levels. Had looked and trialed at a few other places, but i found the instruction, rooftop location and friendly no-ego culture among the students to be ideal for me. For those seeking extra bruises, there are advance classes, personal training and opportunity to get into the competition ring....

Was looking for an affordable gym / kickboxing class when I stumbled upon RTF through ClassPass in 2014. Immediately, I pledged my loyalty to RTF and Master Chan and signed a package. What I really like that spurs my almost compulsive decision? 1. The price is really affordable. I was doing Muay Thai at a franchise gym, and it costs me $70/session on top of the monthly membership fee of $145. So when Master Chan offered me the package I couldn't refuse. 2. The First In - First Out training style. You reach, you skip, you HIIT, and then padworks with the trainers. Not your turn yet? Go practise moves on those sandbags. I've never tried other gyms so I can't compare training style but this style works for me. 3. The camaraderie among the students. Students who goes there really just wants to have fun and keep fit at the same time. There's no competition and each of us genuinely wants to help each other improve. Some students are now trainers as well. You progress at your own speed. 4. The open air gym. It's so old school, I like. Open air training is better for muay thai. You don't really want your sweats to get chilled by aircon. Oh, they have ceiling fans but it's not operational during training. Warnings given in advance. The Khan levels was introduced a few years after I joined them. They'll prep you before the exams so you'll know what to expect. And when you reach Khan 3 and 4, you will be able to join the muay thai competition to fight with the students in Thailand's affiliated gym, or the International Muay Thai Festival fights with other overseas competitors. Very exciting events during August! (pre-covid) In summary, this gym is bang for one's buck for some training and keeping fit. You'll reach advance levels but how good you'll become depends on how much you wanted to be. It might not have the allure of those high class gyms with world class trainers, but imo you don't have to sell your organs to join this gym.

I have trained at many gyms around the world evolve, fairtex, Tiger etc and lived in Thailand for a couple of years. The friendly training at RTF is tailored to what you want from your Muay Thai. If you're looking for learning something new, getting in shape or training to be a fighter it can all be catered for. Each year the fighters train to go to the sister gym in Thailand compete in a very traditional way. A package is offered that includes everything from accommodation, training and fight package. The mix is usually 50-50 ladies and gentlemen training at this gym. The key thing is to be clear on your goals with the trainers and they can match the sessions to what you want to achieve.

Started training at Royal Thai Fitness March 2019. Love it here! Master Chan is a great teacher. He’s very attentive & patient, which I really appreciated as a beginner. The location and atmosphere is a big plus too. I like breathing in fresh air and having a bit of a view while training, and the folks are friendly. The community is a fun mix of diff ages, levels, and backgrounds, from little kids just starting out to male & female fighters who’ve gone to Thailand to fight.
