Update: The fried oysters are to die for! Perhaps the best in Singapore. ? This is my new favorite bar. The taste of the cocktails brings me right back to a bespoke cocktail bar nestled in the sidewalks of Shibuya - I am completely in love with their bloody mary which is made simply with fresh japanese tomato juice, lime, salt and shochu. And the red shiso fizz made with red shiso juice was unique, refreshing and unlike any cocktail you have in Singapore.

Chanced upon this hidden gem in the early parts of the evening when it wasn't very crowded yet. Such a discreet and unobtrusive entrance that we almost gave it a miss thinking it was closed. Really nice Vinyl music lounge with great acoustics. Shochu based cocktails and wide spread of Japanese alcohols makes it unique compared to every other lounge bar. Friendly bar tender and interesting food menu. Too bad we didn't get a chance to try those during our visit. A must try. Came back a second time recently with the experience largely similar despite covid restrictions. It was never too packed with tables to start with so nothing much changed compared with before. Still the pleasant serene retro vibe Japanese Western ambience.

Great pre drink spot! Especially loved the Japanese Alexander #2. A must try! Great drink to end with. Glasses are very fancy, so be careful! ?

Charming and gorgeous Japanese speakeasy tucked away from Duxton’s hustle and bustle. I enjoyed the drinks while I was there, along with the Japanese’s bartending showmanship, and the impressive decor obviously. However I wasn’t blown away by the whole concept of the bar and their drinks aren’t exactly memorable. I prefer my cocktail bars to be slightly more dingy, eclectic and maybe even resembling somewhat of a dive bar but still retaining the classiness of a cocktail bar. RPM felt too β€œproper” or perhaps professional-like for me, and the lights are too bright to create an intimate mood. Interesting drinks though and great for a first timer.

Cool Japanese spot that combines traditional and innovative Shochu drinks with a vast vinyl collection. Great for fans of japanese bar culture, fine spirits and coo tunes. Good food too…

I gotta say this place provides one of the top service in town. Almost flawless! They serve a list of shochu based cocktails in their menu. Love the ambience, doesn’t even felt like I was in Singapore. And food was delicious as well. Highly recommended!
