Great and friendly service. The salon is well decorated with a traditional ambience and you can't help but feel luxurious when getting your face cleaned up. Most importantly, they have never gone wrong with my brows before. Having good brows adds an additional star to your face's rating. Suggest all to try.

First of all, the salon is so pretty. I walked in there today at 4-ish with no appointment and asked if I could get my eyebrows done. The 2 ladies at the counter said it would be no problem. Between the 2 of them, they decided who was gonna do my threading. It was Jamuna. I explained to her I do not want a high eyebrow arch, I want them as thick as possible, and that my skin is EXTREMELY sensitive (ie, threading hurts me A LOT). She did not make my eyebrows thin (thank God), she did not give me high arches (yes, thank God again), she cleaned up the mess nicely, AND Jamuna was kind about the pain I was experiencing. She was patient, and as gentle as a threading therapist could be. And she was still smiling at me by the end of it. Phew. Needless to say, I’ll be back there, looking for Jamuna to do my eyebrows.

TLDR: Taking the time to leave a bad review to forewarn others not to get scammed. I try my hardest to refrain from leaving bad reviews because of how they affect the livelihoods of people but this experience was just horrific. *Don’t put your money here.* There are a lot of better places to get your beauty services and brows done with much better service. I used to frequent this place as a loyal customer and Jamuna was really nice and did a good job. However, she’s since left and this place has just deteriorated appallingly. I received the most shockingly disappointing service and then got told off by the staff after waiting for 45 mins that i was “wrong” for being upset. Was told that “threading must wait” … but for 45mins? And even if so, why then have other walk-in customers been served first when they arrived later than me? The staff then tried to say that they are “understaffed” and “it’s friday” and “very busy”. But i find it hard to believe due to their actions. Out of the entire threading studio, only only 2 seats were seated with customers, and out of those 2, only 1 was being serviced by a junior/learning beautician. I note that there are 2 more other uniformed staff in the corner at that time. I don’t know what they are doing… But definitely judging by the choice of their actions, the place was not busy enough for them to be helping? Furthermore, out of my 45mins wait, i was privy to witness a lady pop in the shop to chat with the staff as well. The lady did not get service done, and only stopped by to chat. The staff and this lady just had a lengthy good laugh at the Service Counter. I have since then reached out to the Manager of the 3 Rupini’s Outlets across Singapore but the manager has not seemed to respond either. the experience which i have described should all have been captured by the cctvs of the outlet should the manager doubt the credibility of my claims. I am thoroughly angered by the experienced and at the time that has been wasted when i simply came as a (once) loyal customer for a beauty service. A Thoroughly disappointing experience that every potential customer should just avoid. It just ruined my evening and wasted so much precious time. Be forewarned that this place just tries to get you to put your money with them by offering you “credit packages” but end up giving you horrible service leaving you feeling as if you are at their mercy. Absolutely disappointed with the service at this outlet. I’ve always frequent rupinis but this could be my last time. Waited for more than 30 mins for a threading session. No receptionist to manage walk-in customers (which were already more than 5 people waiting). When it was my turn she didn’t even powder my brows before threading & when i requested for upper lip threading she proceeded to sigh. When questioned as to why she didn’t powder my brows, she said that i already had waited very long. I don’t think the process of the threading should be cut short just because “i had waited a long time”. The place looks lovely but the service was horrible. I hope the management reviews this.

Almost forgot what it was like to have my eyebrows threaded professionally. They did a very great job with evening out my uneven eyebrows without making them too thin. I went there during early afternoon on weekday without an appointment and was served immediately as it wasn’t busy. Swift and (almost) painless service, not to mention extremely patient as well as I had some trouble paying at the counter with an old membership card which they no longer use. Thankfully, I was able to use up the remaining credits in the card and update the details into their new system. Rupini’s OM studio is extremely beautiful and clean btw! The moment you step in, it already feels like going to a spa in a different country. Love it! I will come back again.

Quality of service has been generally reliable in the past 2 years since I’ve been patronizing the Little India branch. However due to the lack of staff, I would usually be uncertain when I would be served during walk ins for threading (usually no appointment for this allowed). I could wait for 30-40mins when all the staff are occupied with other hair and beauty appointments without knowing when is my turn. Perhaps the management could consider hiring additional staff to improve the overall customer experience. Would still come back for the affordable threading service!
