β β β β β Ordered a caborana and came with an uncooked egg. I wanted well done, Manager? (in black polo) named Michelle told me it is like that for Caborana. The Male waiter told me can choose either egg or without. This Michelle never even asked and just placed the order egg caborana, different from what I had said. Some more it is additional $1.
I asked for an extra bowl, and Michelle pointed at the table right behind me, indicating I get it myself. No service charge that is why this kind of service. A manager with this kind of service. Oh my!
The seafood chowder also came with a shell in it (see photo). Luckily, not so sharp to cause a cut in my mouth.
This is not my first time dining at Saizeriya. Service at this outlet definitely in need of improvement.

β β β β β Wallet friendly Japanese style Italian restaurant. They do decent pastas and pizzas. And an awesome escargot. The best bang for your buck (not exactly authentic) Italian around.
Mushroom soup - more onions than mushrooms but still tasted somewhat like mushroom soup.
Cheese chicken - wasn't as tasty as it sounds.
Clams - sweet but sandy
Pasta - basil cream and bacon - so so but too heavy for me
Escargot - tasty with no disgusting garden taste
Pizza - pepperoni - thin crust is great. Gets soggy quickly so you better eat fast.

β β β β β The aglio olio shrimp and broccoli comes with 3 small prawns, some broccoli and and a fairly large serving of pasta. The taste isnβt great but itβs just S$5.90 nett. The chef salad tastes like what it looks like.

β β β β β Ordered 3 medium striploin steaks and they came is different sizes and thickness, like they were from different cows or they were the last three pieces. The thinner of the 3 was a bit over done while the better looking steak was raw inside.
The mushroom soup was alright but it was not hot and the serving was just tiny. Enough for one gulp. They took it back and microwaved it.
The bolognese was quite dry and the fried chicken wings felt like they came out of a packet from Fairprice and microwaved it.
The arugula and grilled chicken pizza was ok though.

β β β β β never order the pasta, noodles are very hard and chewy. the tables are also placed too close to each other. Food quality is also pretty bad but its cheap! And there is a wide range of food to order from. some of The food won't match the picture. and some food have pretty questionable quality/taste.

β β β β β What can I say, it's a saizeriya... Very consistent in terms of quality and portions. Taste is good considering the prices. Scope of menu is good too. What we really love about the place is their service and relatively comfy furnishings / settings ( for the price). Can't beat that.

β β β β β Saizeriya is practically selling foods at hawker centers' price in a decent restaurant venue at shopping malls.
$3.9 for a plate of spaghetti bolognaise, $6.9 for a medium-sized thin pizza, and $4.2 for a bowl of salad.
With that price you get good portion of meal, just okay taste (don't expect superb quality for this price please), comfortable seats and air-conned. Oh, and great service.
Also, no additional service charge or tax.
I don't think there's a better value-for-money option at this price range. But I'd be happy to be wrong. ?
