My children and I were in a rush for our dinner this evening. Unfortunately one of the items was late to serve so I had to ask if I could cancel the item because we had to leave in a few minutes.
The staff/manager apologised and immediately take the item off the bill. On TOP of that, he gave us some dessert as way of apologies. He explained that the dish was late in serving because it was not done to standard so he rejected it and wanted to make a new one for me.
My teen children and I are so impressed with the response from the restaurant that they deserve this review.
Love the ambience. Retro and nostalgic, a good neighbourhood hangout for both family and folks who like a beer or two!
Food and price all good! Will definitely go back and bring friends and family!

โ โ โ โ โ Splendid,the experience I had in this store is perfect.The service is commendable,the food was good,pricing was affordable,and the people there were very proactive,Everytime I finished my drink,they would immediately refill it regardless of iced or hot.In a nutshell,I am extremely satisfied with this store and will definitely come again.

โ โ โ โ โ Very nice and reasonable simple tepanyaki and yakitori. You can oder food from Tamako which is 2 doors away, and pay everything in a single bill. Set meals available both lunch and dinner time. The Japanese lady serving is very friendly.

โ โ โ โ โ Your friendly neighbourhood Japanese eatery that's oozing with simplicity and charm. Don't expect any fancy games, it's just pure straight home cooked style Japanese food that's decent and economical. 98% of the dishes in the menu are below $20. Can't get better value that that surely, especially when this is not one of your usual hawker stall.
Again, the food's quality is decent and service is good too. Believe it or not , the chef cooking your Japanese meal is actually an Indian chap (see pict). How diverse and inclusive is that! ?? 3.5 stars.

โ โ โ โ โ Casual dinner with a couple of friends.
Had the teppanyaki beef set (changed rice to garlic fried rice), chicken chahan, mentaiko okonomiyaki, koebi and a few more dishes like salmon sashimi and sushi. Happy that we're able to order from sister restaurant Tamako Meal!
Price very reasonable, friendly staff, 10/10 will come again ??
P.s. parking might be hard over the weekends.
