Great value Japanese food. I always felt the bento set was one of the most value Japanese meals in Singapore. I added on the squid from Hokkaido based on their recommendation and it was great too. The place is always kept clean and tired so it is great especially for a season of covid19.

Tamako Meal has always been in our must visit list of Japanese Restaurants in Singapore. Their meals are simple yet authentic, never compromise in food quality and always ensure us with sufficient portion. Never miss their Giant Squid and Tuna bowl for our every visits. Owner is always friendly and chats with diners occasionally. Awesome place. ?

Good value, tasty and surprisingly big portions. We over ordered as we thought the rice bowls were normal sized but they were huge. The salmon fish head was huge. The potato salad is good but relatively expensive at $5.80 before service charge. Food is ordered via scanning a QR code.

Went at a colleague's recommendation to try during lunch. Didn't go for their daily lunch set and opted for their katsu curry rice. The curry itself is pretty good, generous. Squid was nice with the dip and the potato salad was not too bad too. My colleague had the yakisoba which was surprisingly quite delicious. Overall, a homely little place I wouldn't mind retuning to again if I'm in the vicinity. Otherwise, it's located at a pretty inaccessible place - best to drive there.

Friendly staff, cozy atmosphere. Food is alright but perhaps we ordered the wrong dishes. What we like: Oyako don Milk tea Didnt like Sushi coated with sesame and a frozen crab stick. Sashimi was abit soggy and ika was terribly hard.

Nice homely Japanese eatery here! The katsu don is quite nice and unique with the addition of mushrooms. The salmon is ok, ebi tempera and karaage is good. The grilled squid is also fresh and bouncy! Like and check in to their fb to get a free wakami, itโ€™s delicious! The roasted barley tea is also aromatic!

Has a very 80s look to the decor. Food isnโ€™t bad, tastes pretty authentic. Katsu curry even had the fukujin pickles. Oyakodon also nice.

Was expecting a normal Japanese meal, turns out to be a great meal that must share to friends! Ordered the saba shio fish, Koebi (fried small prawns) kake udon, and okonomiyaki. All were delicious and very much like having a meal back in Japan! Portions were bigger than expected, but value for money! Had hot barley tea, came in a big pot, bf got iced one, free refills! Must come and try, won't be disappointing! Do wish it's more accessible, have to drive in or change buses.
