great showroom with all the scanteak offerings convenient parking in the back, this show room is quite a walk from the paya lebar mrt station. perhaps it's an indication of the clientele they are targeting as the teak furniture is quite luxurious. For indication, a simple shoe rack with natural wood with clear varnish goes for SGD 300+.

If there is a zero star option, I would definitely give this place so. Firstly, please note that the existing 5-star reviews are dubious as they were giving 2% off to any buyers who writes a review on the spot. Other reviews aside, the craftsmanship is extremely poor. We ordered the SOVI Adjustable Table (120cm), to be delivered 29 Jan. After 1 hour of fixing, the deliverymen could not get the motor for the table working. Why was there no quality check in the factory to prevent this from happening, or no spare motors?? Lastly, the customer service treats you like trash. They could only come down to replace the motor/table on 11 Feb due to Chinese New Year, resulting in: 1) Extra labour on OUR end because we have to move cumbersome items, such as monitors, speakers, heavy storage containers containing stationery/skincare etc. on again, then repeat on 11 Feb -or- have the house be untidy for CNY. Not to mention, they cannot confirm that they are replacing just the motor or also the table. Do I don't need to work until the new table arrives? 2) The drawers we had planned to fit under the table cannot be fit because the table can't be adjusted; nor can the chair fit under the table. The room configuration is such that it's difficult to move things in and out of the room, yet customer service (Ms Cherish, to be specific) is completely unsympathetic, and thinks because we are young, we should be able to move things without problem. 3) A complete waste of our time to be waiting around for them to redeliver, to rearrange items on the table etc. I specifically took time off to set up my workplace but just ended up wasting time. 4) If their warehouse opens on 8 Feb, then why do we have to wait 3 extra days for the replacement to be delivered, when it is them who made this mistake? Overall, worst experience I ever had. Please take your money somewhere else.

We were served by Mr Daniel. He is patient with us and took the time to go through the product specifications. We have also explained our space requirements and design ideas for our bedroom. He was quick to suggest the appropriate product that fits our description. Moreover, the Joo Chiat showroom was easily navigable and well designed for easy identification of specific product group.
