Quite disappointed with the food. We asked for medium doneness on both the lamb & tomahawk steak. Steak was just slightly over medium but still tender & a little moist. Value for money 1kg tomahawk at $88. However the lamb which was supposed to be medium came out well done. There were only 3 tables of guests including us & was surprised the kitchen can still get it wrong. Very amateurish performance. Will probably try the many steak places out there before thinking of coming back here. Night was saved by the wines. Haha…. BYO policy is strictly 1 for 1. So we brought a Leoville Las Cases & ordered a Clarendelle Haut Brion from the restaurant.

Excellent service. Great steak. The striploin was actually more tender than the tenderloin. Ambiance is cosy. Good place for families. At night the bar gets busier. Martini nights on Wednesdays. Only complaint: the gents bathroom is damn smelly.

Wanted to try a new steak restaurant and this popped up. Have to say we were very pleasantly surprised. The decor is the old Dan Ryan's but not necessarily a bad thing as there's a nice old school feel to it. The tomahawk we had was excellent. Perfectly done with a great char and at 88 dollars really excellent value. Service was also very prompt and friendly so a shout out to Kevin for the great experience.

absolutely horrible experience. came to celebrate my birthday and also try their apparently best selling tomahawk ($78++), together with the free flow wine promo ($35++). restaurant was empty at 6pm. ordered the tomahawk medium rare with sides of the brocollini and onion rings. the only good things were the brocollini and the onion rings. the steak was well done, the crust was burnt, and the meat was tasteless. we fed back to the waitress immediately and asked for the manager. she said the manager is not around today. nevertheless she brought our plate of barely touched steak back into the kitchen, and brought it back out after 10 minutes with the waitress explaining "the chef said this is a tomahawk so it is normal that the sides will be more well cooked than the middle parts". I pointed out that even the middle parts were medium well done. the waitress had nothing more to say except "we can give you a complimentary dessert.. we can do another steak for you but it will be the same result". we declined the new plate of steak because we were in no further mood for anymore steak. we then were given a happy birthday slice of burnt cheesecake.. which the restaurant proceeded to count as the complimentary dessert ??? will not return. absolutely atrocious. and terribly, terribly disapponting. I'll let the photos do the talking.

Really mid experience. The lone star in my review shines for the service staff. Read the reviews a tad too late, only after we were seated, but decided to have some faith... but sorely let down. Saw many mixed reviews on here, and unfortunately I'm here to add on to the negative ones. Since I've seen 1 to 5 stars all around the same time, im guessing the chef has changed since nothing else can explain the inconsistency. Champagne onion rings were alright- crunchy and fresh (they're homemade) but bland. Also ordered the famous $88 tomahawk. Juicy, but under-seasoned, with lots of burnt bits, so we had to go heavy handed on the salt ourselves, and the burnt bits left a really bitter aftertaste to each piece, possibly ruining whatever flavour there was in the first place. The service was great though, attentive and friendly, what a shame the tomahawk's such a disappointment- it was heavily advertised physically and online as well. Bring your spice cabinet if you plan on visiting. Sorry but not sorry, will not be visiting again!

Nice and warm environment with friendly and attentive staff. I ordered the "herb-infused" tomahawk, the battered onion rings, and the seared mule. The drink was fantastic and well balanced. The steak was so-so. I wasn't able to taste any of the herbs added to the steak and there was no salt or pepper added while cooking (they did have it at the table for you though). Surprisingly the highlight was the onion rings. I've never had better onion rings anywhere. They were genuinely fantastic. All in all a good experience and I will be back.

RIP Dan Ryan’s Singapore; Seared is here in your place. After several years away from Singapore I was looking for a good steak place near Orchard. There are several choices, but Seared’s menu looked intriguing. Although there were several good looking cuts on the menu, including a 1kg tomahawk, I decided to test the chef and go with the Beef Wellington. This is a difficult dish to do on demand at a restaurant and Gordon Ramsay might be the only chef to really hit it consistently. That said, this version was very good. The beef was maybe slightly beyond medium rare, but it was close enough and the tenderloin was tasty. The gravy on the side actually made the dish. I also ordered the β€˜champagne battered’ onion rings. They were very light and beautifully crispy, but needed more salt; easily fixed at the table. As an added bonus Seared is running a wine special that features a Spanish red that is very good for a house pour. Singapore is known for over the top and expensive steak houses. Seared fills a nice niche with tasty but reasonably priced dishes. Having read a few reviews I think people have to balance the menu against the prices. You might not be surprised that an $88 Tomahawk may not compare with a $200 one…. So.... Highly recommended.

We went to Seared for our family’s birthday and Father’s Day celebrations on 18 Jun and tried the Tomahawk, BBQ baby pork ribs, soup of the day, Patagonia squid, spicy wings, sautΓ© seasonal vegetables, mixed forest greens, fries and onion rings. The food was great; what really stood out for our family was the service from Kevin. He made us feel very welcome, was polite and always ready to offer any help we needed. His diligence and attentiveness ensure customers have an extremely pleasant experience. You’ve got a star, Seared Steakhouse! Thank you Seared Steakhouse for the wonderful evening! ☺️
